  1. precision delta sells loaded ammo, i think they have 147grs. The other thing you might want to do if you never have is remove the extractor and clean the hook part really well.
  2. Forget L10 and just shoot production I know thats not the answer you want to here but that will take care of your problem.
  3. It seems like the most obnoxius people at a match are the people that are there watching but not shooting themselves and know everything about shooting. Normally once they get called out a couple times they kind of start to get the point. If they dont not much you can do about it unless they are being ofensive.
  4. Looks great for a new shooter. Its hard to tell without being there and not being able to see the targets but it looks like if you would have gotten in the correct position you could have pick up more targets from a single shooting position. On the first stage when you went to the left side you shot from 3 positions. The video makes it look like you could have cleared the whole array of targets from 1 or 2 positions but its hard to say without seeing the targets myself.

    M&P40 Pro

Still waiting, seems like everyone has one. What are we waiting for? Not to mention every online gun store has one.
  6. Ive wondering the same thing lately.
  7. I tried the Arredondo extensions on my para p16-40. Nothing but problems. Also tried thier followers, they worked great for about 2 months.
  8. In a game where .10s of a sec count the best way is what ever is the fastest way. For me in production when I reload my m&p dfrom slide lock I have my strong hand thumb on the slide release during the reload so I can release the slide as the gun returns to the shooting position, but you really have to keep track of the rounds in the gun so you know the gun is going to lock open on that shot (my hands are small enough that my thumbs dont naturally reach the release during a normal reload). In uspsa the stages are required to be 8 shot nuetral so unless you have makeup shots or are gaming a stage you should be able to time your reloads so that the slides not have to lock open
  9. I see someone finally has a scopemount for the m&p. sjcguns.com "the glock jockey" now has a c more sideways mount for sale. I been waiting for something like this to start building a m&p open gun.
  10. I forgot to say that that while the bladetech doh is production legal, I see alot of limited guys using it also. Might not be the best limited division holster but it will get you by just fine if you decide to move up a division until to get around to upgrading to a "race holster"
  11. Any normal kydex hoster that you pick up at a sporting store like uncle mikes or blackhawk will do for production but the best holster is the bladetech doh. It cost alittle more but is worth it. The draw and everything else feel much more natural since it doesnt ride so high on your waist. I think they have one for the XDm 5.25 but not sure.
  12. If you add grip tape or a grip sleeve just make sure that it doesnt cover the grip saftey and hold it down when shooting production.
  13. If I had to choose between practice or a match I would shoot the match. I wouldnt consider it "practice" in any way, but things will come up at a match that you will never have thought about during practice. Also, youll never be able to duplicate the stress of a match in practice. If range time is limited then shoot the match and figure out your weak areas and dryfire during the week. Everyones got to have 15 min a day they can spend on dryfire if they are serious about getting better.
  14. I would def. get a egw U-die for the .40 s&w. Seems to do a better job on the cases with a "Glock bulge". Never never had any issues with standard Lee dies in any of my other calibers.
  15. If they were into anything to bad I dont think they would want the cameras following them and the attention that goes with having a tv show. Wannabees
  16. I gave up golf for this sport, for the most part that is
  17. Well, Im ready for the season to start!
  18. I would just get the apex sear. I have an apex sear in one of my pros and I cut the sear in my other pro myself. While the pro series sears arent that bad, the apex makes a huge differance in trigger feel. Due to the sear/striker engagement area being differant on the apex, youll have a heavier trigger pull with the pro series then the apex sear. Even with the competition springs, the trigger pull will be heavier then it has to be if you dont use the apex sear. The apex also cuts down on trigger overtravel and does have a cleaner break.
  19. It almost sounds to me like you just want a sti and are here looking for someone to justify spending the money on one. If the moneys not that big of issue buy one. I wouldnt break the bank on a better gun though if that means pinching pennies on ammo and not getting to shoot it as much as you should. Ive often considered buying one too, but I didnt really shoot my para any better in limited then I do my m&ps in production. Im finishing in about the same place in combined division results in production as I did limited.
  20. My mistake, 4in plates at 35 yards. Thats good enough for me. I dont think I could do better then that with any pistol.
  21. Great read. I like how he explains why he prefers one platform to the other without bashing either one too bad. I must have gotten lucky with my M&P9 because I have no problems hitting 3 in steel plates at 35 yards freestyle, but I do understand the some of these guns have had accuacy issues.
  22. I just picked up some adidas thrashers. You cant really tell from the pictures, but they are really agressive. Not that heavy either and feel just like a normal running shoe.
