  1. Probably need to ask practiscore really nicely if they can export it out like that. On the other hand, based on what I've read about practiscore, there is a simple API that exists that should allow anyone who has access to it to create the results in any format they want.
  2. Thanks for setting record straight Mike.
  3. I've heard Mike speak about L10 several times and he always says that is was a division created to solve a problem that no longer exists ... it's pretty obvious what he plans to do when he talks like that .... Not so simple though right? he will need majority of the board to go along with that decision to make it happen. Anyone have any idea if there is BOD support for removing it? I heard the podcasts too, he clearly wants to kill L10 and would probably kill revolver if he thought he could get it done but he also said based on sitting in on bod meetings that it is very clear the BOD is loathe to taking anything away from the membership. I think the rules or bylaws or something say they can only make one division change every 2 years? That 1 change will be the presumptive addition of carry optics/prod I would assume, but it will be a new el prez an partially new BOD making that vote which mike seems to also have disdain for so who knows. I am troubled by this post. I don't believe Mike Foley has ever said one word that suggests he would favor eliminating Revolver Division. That's fair, I never said it was a direct statement, it's just what I think which is worth nothing. I'm voting for Mike in any case. I personally don't believe any divisions including l10 will be eliminated.

  5. This seems most logical to me, faulty part. Really? Seems like a reach to me. The odds of a hobby reloader goofing up vs a major manufacturer with literally millions at risk if a defective part goes out the door. It's not a job shop where some guy on the assembly line just walks over and grabs a cylinder to get started on the next gun. Yeah, because quality control has been so great on these guns? I don't disagree, maybe "most logical" vs just logical is to strong. There's a difference between fit and finish QC and making a gun QC. A competitive shooter has to get it right 10-30K reloading - the manufacturer only has to get it right once, and had much better controls in place than most reloaders. It's not even logical vs most logical - it's probable vs possible. you win this round peterthefish. next time... hah edit..are you in A7 btw? where do you shoot?

  7. If it's in time enough to hit the primer its in time enough for the bullet to align the cylinder as it jumps to the FC. Squib or Double charge. Sort of. 2 years ago, practicing standards. easy, WHO at 3 yards. 3rd shot into drill, huge boom, hot lead and all kinds of blow back up hand/arm into face, but almost no recoil. Target has weird shotgun pattern, couple biggish holds, and scattering of small holes. Skipped chamber, extreme edge hit in primer and it went off. so I know from personal experience "in time enough to go off" doesn't mean the whole bullet will go down the barrel. Some of it will, the rest will smash into barrel and spray out all over in tiny bits. 3.2 of clays with a 160 bayou in that cast. I happened to have a S&W guy on the phone right after it happened discussing finer points of revs going off out of time. This is when I got the "i recommend replace cyl stop every few thousand rounds, etc..." I asked him if they sold them buy the dozen or not....
  8. This seems most logical to me, faulty part.
  9. I had mentioned in here recently, I shot an upside down bullet out of mine recently, 2.8 of tg with a 160 upside down, I haven't tried to figure out if its compressed or not but I would be very surprised if it was not. It was a mighty bang, recoil like a real 357 mag defense load, but no damage. This is just rushing, mr bullet drops some upside downers once in a while, I don't always notice/cull them out. Reach into bucket of ammo and clip them by hand(on the loose clips and never looked.
  10. This is an individual temperament thing, but I have definitely lost interest from doing one thing. Its one of the reasons the whole CO provisional thing is so interesting to me.
  11. Its all relative. In general, HHF's for production and Single Stack are very very stout to say the least, so saying its "easiest" is may be a relative statement.
  12. This is on sale now for 50% for interested parties...
  13. Yes, but let's not forget that those are CATEGORIES. USPSA should field teams for all divisions (that are equivalent to IPSC Divisions) first and foremost--including Revolver Division--and only then consider whether resources are available for the various categories. Yeah, this is pretty damn weak not including the division.
  14. One team per division/category up to the number of slots that we are assigned. So why do you suppose we're not fielding a team in all divisions? 60 slots per region is what someone posted on doodie. I am taking it this is a financial decision though, sending 60 shooters to europe for a match is alot of money.
  15. not paying attention/scatter brain I shot a 160 that the bullet feeder had dropped upside down, so this would a compressed load of 3.0 of TG. If made a mighty bang and was startling, but no apparent damage.
  16. It could not have been official match ammo, if it were he would be exempt from chronograph. See appendix C3. Not aware of how many matches aside from nationals really have this service though...
  17. Why does this need to be said? Why can't the reaction be included? When I think of how fast it takes me to do something I don't subtract my reaction time. They don't subtract my reaction time at the match. I'm sorry, but I just don't follow how this is a valid action to subtract the reaction time. I'm with Tom on this one...11 and 15, not 12 and 16.With respect to McGivern's records, they were on the equipment of the era which had no ability to hear the shots. Now that we have the ability to hear the shots in our timers...let's use that method instead and respect the former method for what it was. Guinness, who certifies the actual records, disagrees with you.
  18. he appears to be safer than most adults. When he puts on another 20 or 30 lbs of bodyweight and the strength that goes with it he is going to be a terror...
  19. Hearthco / TKC Stainless EDM. 1:32 in. .035 you mean more likely.
  20. have a look at this as well...
  21. I've been using federal range pickup brass exclusively for my 929. Titegroup with a 160 bayou. This brass has been loaded more than 10 now times by me and the fp bushing on my gun is fine and the primers on all my brass after firing in this gun are smashed(as previously noted, if you didn't know better you would assume you were way over pressure...) with no signs of leakage.
  22. What made them truly 6 shot neutral? Were they presented in 6 shot arrays with time to reload between each (so they were shot similarly by both 6 and 8 shot guns) or was there an 8 shot plan and a 6 shot plan with just additional planned reload (or two) for the 6 shooters? My stage above wasn't ideal because the 8 shot guys could allow for make ups on the poppers in their plan but it was close to neutral as the planned reloads for both 6 and 8 were on the move with the 6 shot guys needing four and the 8 shot guys needing three. The stage winner was shooting Classic so it worked as intended. The targets were grouped (in number of hits) from left to right as 6-2-4-4-2(poppers)-4-2-6. It was the 2013 IRC, every array was either 3 paper, 6 paper, 2 paper 1 steel, or 5 steel, or some variation where 8 was no help and carrying 2 or 3 was no help, everyone shot the same 6 shot plans. I think for the polish plate rack at the end of the marathon sprint which had 6 steel on it was the only place where a 6 shooter was in a clutch situation and HAD to go 1 for 1.
  23. Was looking for info on this topic, seem like basepad has a big effect(new to open) New sti mags with grams spring/follower and the factory STi basepad only hold 27 in the 3 I have.
  24. seriously, throw the FCD in the garbage. as others are suggesting, does it fit your barrel? The EGW U-die is magic IMO...
