Good point! +10. Years ago my smith experimented with different exit hole diameters for each chamber baffle. Results were what you would expect.

Had this happen once-was a JP light weight buffer. The roll pin started backing out and jammed it in the tube. Not fun but start ramming the muzzle end down against something soft. If it's that, it'll come forward. YMMV.
