  1. wow, I had to pound the crap out of mine... I really think the holes were staked.
  2. That is great service!! Thank you can't wait to join the open shooters.
  3. Seems like all these little pins are staked in.
  4. I fly to 3-gun matches about once a month. Having to open the case at the ticket counter is the norm. Always impressive to the people in line behind you when you open a case like this....
  5. I should have the benelli extractor and spring Saturday or maybe Monday. Tube tomorrow barrel should be back Tuesday or Wed it's about ready to rock then back in the safe lol
  6. Maybe... My new press already broke, my MKA is at tooth and nail, I sent my primary rifle to Nordic, my new pistols wont be here for another month... I think mostly I just didn't have anything to play with. Lol
  7. Tried to catch how square it is the other day
  8. I have not really tried to load it. The barrel is out getting the PK sight upgrade and I am waiting on the long tube from MOA
  9. The front is very square and it seems like there is something in there that shells will catch on. I got mine a few weeks ago direct from benelli and has the new contour.
  10. That is some dedication! Thank you.
  11. Props to MOA, they called last night after what I would call normal business hours.
  12. I ordered some pure golds. I hope they work. Sending the gun out tomorrow for a mid barrel brake and some mag tuning.
  13. Think I may have the swage sorted out. Not really sure because I broke all of my depriving pins. It will be a couple of days before I can get back on it.
  14. I got the M3K on a whim and I can't make up my mind if I really want to keep it. I have not even shot it. I called MOA today to see about getting an extended mag tube for it, I am waiting on a call back. I love my 1301 and I was thinking of shooting open next year, I already have an MKA1919...
  15. I thought that so I checked. Right shell plate. I called Dillon but I have to be in front of the machine. So I will be calling later.
  16. It was definitely the swage rod because that problem went away when I took the backer out and dropped the swager primer pockets were fine.
  17. Upgraded from a 650 to a 1050 over the weekend... Yeah, I suck at all things 1050. I got everything to load multiple calibers so I spent a large portion of an entire day setting up all the tool heads and changing the shell plates. It was a good learning experience to help be comfortable with the machine. I have a dedicated tool head for trimming .223 brass so I ended my set up with the trimmer thinking I would do some brass prep. That is the main reason I bought the 1050. I was depriming, swaging and trimming in one operation. Nothing but problems. I broke the depriming pin on the universal decapping die within the first 25 rounds... The only replacements I bought are shorter for the .223 die. I cant seem to get the swager set up correctly and it is damaging the case necks... Not all of them but enough to piss me off! I took the back up rod for the swager off because I was getting inconsistent trim lengths. (the brass is not sorted) Back to pulling the handle, maybe 20 cases and I broke another decapping pin so I put my last .223 decapping pin in and maybe made it through another 25 cases before it broke... I made it through about 200 cases total before breaking all the pins that I had and damaging about a dozen cases... Seems that I may have bent the rod that holds the decapping pin... I have probably loaded 200k rounds and at least 5k .223 and never had an issue till the 1050... WTF
  18. looks like the Mr. BF is almost having trouble keeping up!
  19. I have several load combinations using the N-320 and heavier bullets but I have never used a them in a hybrid barrel. This will be an AET barrel and I have read that for best results you need a jacketed bullet.
  20. I have a pistol on the way that I am planning on using for open in 3-gun and for steel challenge. There is no power factor for either of these games. The pistol will have a hybrid barrel with 2 hybrid holes and no comp. Does anyone have any experience loading 9mm for a set up kind of like this? I have N-320 and N-350 and 3N38 powder on hand. I also have bullets starting at 95 grains and ending at 147 grains. I want to get the hybrid holes to work in my favor so I assume I will need a slower powder? Just kind of looking for some starting points or ideas.
