  1. Will these firing pins work on the Sig MPX?
  2. I normally use Hornady One Shot or Dillon case lube every 100 hundred rounds. I also will soak it in Hoppes when I clean my gun. It makes it easier to clean for me.
  3. Is the gun a 38 Super or 9MM Major? I have an AKAI 9 Major and when my load was to hot it would not track up and back. Once I reduced the pressure, it was all good.
  4. I was a limited shooter and I was not having fun at all. I was at a local match when I saw Lesgar and Rory having fun challenging each other. After the match Rory let me fire a couple of rounds and that was it. I bought a Trubor and gave it try. I was hooked from there; after about six months I had Lesgar build me a custom gun and the rest is history.
  5. I found these. Apparently they come in a wider size now. https://www.salomon.com/us/product/speedcross-4-wide.html?article=402373.
  6. In 9mm major, I played with CFE but it felt like it was too hot. I went back to HS-6; I know it is dirty but it does work.
  7. I know a lot of people have been recommended a CZ but what about a Tanfoglio Limited Custom. 2011 feel but without the price tag (depends on where you get it). Here is a link for one: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/746466615. As for the Atlas, I would call Adam to see if he has any trades in stock that he is willing to sell. On another note, wait until you get bit by the open bug things get real interesting then. Good luck.
  8. I run all 170's but I do carry 2 140's in my bag. I like the feel of reloading the 170's and so I standardized all my mags.
  9. I guess I have been lucky with my RTS2 sights. I have been using mine for dry fire, practice and matches and the battery hold up. Now I do change the batteries every other month to make sure they do not go out on me.
  10. I have 6 and 8 MOA. I can not really tell a difference.
  11. For 115's, I have always heard harsh but flat. I use 124's but I have wanted to play with the 115's; honestly I don't want to mess with the 1050 (I know lazy).
  12. I use polarized sunglasses from Oakley. The contrast is great and the dot pops.
  13. I would say get a 1lb bottle to test and go from there. I know the shipping cost sucks but I would hate to see you get pounds of expensive powder and not like it. If you get a 4lb jug and don't like it, I'm pretty sure you can sell it with no problems at all but do you want that headache?
  14. These things should be illegal....lol.
  15. That is the recipe that Lesgar uses. If you look at his videos, you will see how little the dot moves on his gun. Like everyone says; you have to experiment to find what you like. I have shot Lesgar's gun and it is crazy how flat that thing is with that load.
  16. +1 definitely. I have tried other powders but I keep coming back to HS-6. HS-6 is dirty but it works.
  17. I stand corrected. The HexTac I saw seemed to be a little thin on the frame but it was one of the prototypes so I'm sure some final changes were made before full production. I still think it would be a cool gun especially if you can keep the slide.
  18. I like the idea but I'm not sure the frame could handle stress of 9mm major. It would be a nice gun though.
  19. For 9MM Major: 8.1GR HS-6, 1.160, 124GR MG JHP, Winchester SRP, 172 PF. For a different feel I use 7.1GR of CFE Pistol.
  20. Okay this looks like an Akai gun. If it is, then drop your PF to 170-175. Speedy built both of my guns and the sweet spot is between 170-175 PF. Shay will tell you the same thing. Also, is this a new gun or a used one? Is it stroked? I run a 7lb recoil spring but when mine started to wear out it was causing my dot to act a little weird not a big issue but something to think about.
  21. What is the PF of your ammo? I had an open gun that would go high right when fired. Once I made sure my grip was good; I did some testing with my ammo. I increased the powder charge by .2 and it made my gun track up and down. My PF went from 171 to about 174-175, each gun is funny like that. I'm not saying this is your problem but someone recommended this to me and it worked. It goes without saying, be careful and watch for pressure signs if you choose to try this.
  22. I run 2 170 MBX mags with Akai. I have the new PT grip on my match gun and I have the old style PT grip on backup gun. They work fine. I did get one mag that was out of spec, I sent it back and they replaced it. Besides, all Speedy runs is MBX mags in his guns.
  23. My current match set is 6 170's. I also have 4 140's I keep in the my range bag just in case.
