Scott; Question, how long did you cut your Nordic spring to on your Benelli? I'm installing mine now and wondered what you started with? Instructions say 10-16" longer than tube. Supplied spring is 45" long. Thanks,

This is from the M2 manual Unloading (This operation must be carried out with the gun safety catch engaged - see “Safety catch” and the barrel pointed in safe direction) To unload the shotgun, proceed as follows: 1) Engage the safety catch and pull the cocking lever to open the bolt (fig. 23): the cartridge in the chamber is extracted and ejected (fig. 25). 2) Gently release the cocking lever to close the breech block (fig. 24). 3) Reverse the gun, and, thrusting the carrier down, press the cartridge retaining lever from the front with the hand index finger (fig. 26). 4) The cartridges will be released one by one into your hand (fig. 27); the carrier latch must be pressed for each released cartridge.

+1 on the M2, I ran a 11-87 for two yrs, then got the M2 field. Really like the M2, light weight, runs clean, runs reliable.

Glad it all worked out, but what a HASSLE!!

i would call the guy it came from, have him find an FFL in his area, have your FFL ship it back to that FFL, have the guy come in verify the transfer, then have that FFL ship it to yours. Whew, that is way too complicated or what!! why do they make it so hard. I feel your pain, can't think of another solution, as crazy as it sounds. maybe someone else can come up with another easier way?

KG i see your point, but when employee turn over at those places is so high, you have to retrain them to do it right every week! it will never end... that may be why it happens so often
