  1. When I rounded the corner and found targets not pasted at a state match a few years ago I turned to the RO and said, "Those targets weren't pasted." He merely turned the timer toward me to imply that the clock was still running. After I repeated my ignorance 2 or 3 times he gave me IYAF ULASC.
  2. Unless you have tried it, I wouldn't recommend the purple. It was barely visible. The only ones that worked for me were green, red, and yellow. The pro uses .050" or 1.5mm, the Novak sights use .040 or 1.0mm.
  3. LOL...Nope. I saw all that blue and it blended in with signature text.

  5. I consider it a good practice to have them stay behind the RO with the clipboard. That RO is usually going to stay far enough back that, even if a shooters skips a target and decides to back up, there will still be room.
  6. I've only had 3 KTMs,two 50s and a 620. Really liked the 200s and 300s I rode, though. Recognize anyone in that pic?
  7. No, it falling off would be just like dropping a gun outside a course of fire and is not grounds for a DQ...unless you pick it back up, then you are handling a gun outside the direction of an RO while not in a safe area.
  8. As far as being a non-DQ-able action, no different. Picking it back up is different though. Since this NROI ruling declares that taking your belt off with the gun still in the holster is considered handling the gun, I would also consider picking up a gun in a holster that had been dropped handling the gun. http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-NROI-ruling-details.php?indx=39
  9. Cool! I appreciate you letting us know.
  10. But it is correct to assess procedurals for shots fired without performing a mandatory reload, correct? CM99-12 has:
  11. I may be working til 7:30 each night so I'm not sure if I could swing it but if there is a match I might be able to sneak out earlier. Anything?
  12. Every time I try to find where I got them I have to dig through my old emails. Putting this here should help me as well as others that want/need them. I have ordered from them a couple times and they are always great! http://c-mtargets.com/ We use these white ones for rifle, full size brown USPSA targets for pistol, and orange 4"x4" steel for shotgun.
  13. Ok, so no procedurals for firing extra shots at T1-T3 before a mandatory reload. How about if they shot at T4-T6 before the mandatory reload? A procedural per?
  14. I don't think it would be a penalty for extra shots but rather a procedural for each shot performed without the mandatory reload. What if the stage description was?
  15. I would need to see the exact verbiage of the stage description. It would have had to explicitly lay out exactly how many shots to take before the mandatory reload in order for you to be penalized for taking extra in a comstock stage.
  16. I've run thousands through my M&Ps with no problem until....I started casting my own. I use WST with lead but am getting ready to try Solo 1000.
  17. Bill do you need one right now? I am pretty sure I have an extra laying around until you get yours from S&W.
  18. The A in RAM is for Assist not Adjustment. It makes the reset give a more noticeable clickas/when you release the trigger.
  19. What broke? I have broken the firing pin off the front of two and had a third one break the rear portion off where it grabs on the sear. ETA: All 3 of mine were the original black ones.
  20. I wish I had shot the match that well. But.... Did you notice that the only places you really struggled were the ones where you had to think? Did you get both hits on the drop out on the left of Stage 8? It looked close. I *wish* I had shot Stage 2 the way you did!
  21. First day of shooting was GREAT! Well...maybe not for me personally but in general, things went very well today. I did get to spend the day with Nemo and Jack, provide some helpful tips, and even got to demonstrate some superior advanced techniques. On second thought, maybe those were provided to me.
  22. All 3 of my Pros originally came with the smaller (16th") sear return spring. All 3 also had the same problem until I swapped out the sear blocks. Apex now has on their website: I would recommend sending the gun to them, get their Failure Resistant Extractor installed with a humanly removable roll pin, and they will replace the sear block for $25. I have had extraction issues with almost all of my M&Ps (prior to the FREs), too. If you just want to replace the sear housing block: http://www.speedshooterspecialties.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=0&products_id=939&zenid=8f751c3d3debc662ba207ae56b3857ba
  23. I prefer to use a concave steel border to throw the errant shots back at the shooter. I see nothing that dictates the size of paper no-shoot targets.
