Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. For those allowing PCC in USPSA matches now, how do you handle "up range, surrender" starts? Seems like up range "low ready" would be a little spooky. Hands up, slung?
  2. Glad someone posted this. I got the invitation but the sticker sealing the envelope glued the invitation to the inside. When I got it loose all I could read was Surefire Multigun World.
  3. Matches BACK ON! We had a great get together. The new Match Directors are Doug Wilton, Bobby Thornton, and John Hill. Matches will resume on the 1st Saturday of each month starting in March! Lee King Executive Committee - Member at Large USPSA Match Director - RETIRED (again) Palmetto Gun Club
  4. I'm happy to announce Doug Wilton, Bobby Thornton, and John Hill are taking over Match Director duties at PGC. Matches will resume the 1st Saturday of each month starting in March. For those familiar with PGC, I fully anticipate bigger and better things from these guys. I'm personally looking forward to seeing everyone back out at the range! Lee King Executive Committee - Member at Large USPSA Match Director - RETIRED (again) Palmetto Gun Club
  5. While the club certainly encourages participants to join, the only real "job" that has to be a club member is Match Director. The meeting/get together tonight is open to anyone interested in USPSA in the Charleston area, not just PGC members.
  6. For those in the Charleston area, we will have a meeting Tues night Feb 4th at Ichiban Japanese Steak House in West Ashley: 1716 Old Town Road, Charleston SC 29407 to select new Match Director(s).
  7. Just a bump to remind people there will be no match this weekend, Feb 1st at PGC. Good news: we're making progress on new MD(s) and hope to be back on track for the March match. Stay tuned.
  8. The Match Director for USPSA and Steel Challenge at the Palmetto Gun Club has stepped down. Until we have a replacement, USPSA Matches at PGC are on hold. Chester Cox and Aline Greene are stepping in as Match Directors for Steel Challenge. SC will continue on it's regular schedule. We are holding a meeting of Charleston USPSA shooters to select a new Match Director. I've had a great response so far and believe we can get back on track very quickly. In the meantime, we will NOT be able hold our scheduled February match. Stay tuned for details. Lee King Executive Committee, Member at Large Palmetto Gun Club Charleston, SC
  9. Yes. The match will be on January 4th. Approximate round count will be 100. New shooter briefing at the range at 09:00am. Due to unforeseen circumstances registration will be at 09:30 at the range (no pre-registration). Match begins at 10:00. Due to additional fees for a classifier match, there will be no awards for category winners. Lee King Executive Committee - Member at Large Acting Match Director - USPSA Palmetto Gun Club
  10. Sounds like a bad mix of IDPA and two gun. pat There was definitely a lot of IDPA-ish kind of stuff for sure. But this was their first venture into this. They teamed up with Noveske as a title sponsor. I think they will learn from it and use the Noveske experience to make it better.
