I doubt i could make it up to Frederick but thanks!
I'll be doing some work at Calvert Memorial Hospital. I'm still not 100% confirmed on the dates yet but I will send you a PM when I know.
Very cool! I will plan my trip accordingly. I will try to get there early afternoon and I'll be staying near where 75 hit 275 on the north side.
Would it be possible for a friend from Springfield to meet us there? I saw it is a private club but I wasn't sure about the matches.
Thanks everyone!
It turns out I won't be getting up there until the 11th and my wife is coming with me this time. Even if there was a match that Saturday it would probably be a bad idea for me to attend.
...and thanks to Cap for doing a fine job of running our squad.
That spinner kicked my butt twice on the same stage. The last match I screwed up and offered to go first not knowing how to spin hat thing with birdshot. This time *I* shuffled the scoresheets and *I* came up first! Never did hit the spinner with the slugs but did put two in the no-shoot next to it. With the pistol I believe I dumped at least 2 full mags at it and hit the bottom a few times but NEVER the top. From later watching others it seems the hits on the top have more of an effect than the hits on the bottom. Next time I will.....probably fail to spin it again! Tommy did manage to flip it with his 115gr 9mm loads.
We had a guy with an unfamiliar gun get DQ'd on the first stage. He stayed the rest of the match and did more to reset than anyone else on the squad. I was very impressed and hope to shoot with him again.
Can someone explain this picture to me? It looks like the bullet has just left the barrel and the hammer is back. Other fast motion stills I have seen just after firing never had time for the slide to move, much less recock the hammer.

From reading the page I don't think they are claiming the holes in the billet do as much as it nears the end of the barrel as they do before it actually enters the barrel.
I spent more time than I want to admit making my wife a set of Montana Gold 55gr earings a couple of years ago. This would have been much easier!
Thank you! Right now we are looking at doing 4 next year with the first one March 17th. We learnde a lot and will do better on the next one.
Any chance of you guys making it up to Greenville for the match this Saturday?
You pretty much kicked ass but it does make us mere mortals feel a little bit better knowing that.
If I find a need to post another update you'll be listed as Optics (and an honest guy).
Thanks for posting the videos, too!
