  1. My gun is 100% CO legal. The firing pin block is still intact and functional. I'm saying that CZCustom can put a new gun together and magically get it on the list. They could do the same for a tricked out steel framed CO gun, if they chose to.
  2. CZ 75b J-Point Optic 34.2 with 75b mag. 34.7 with shadow mag. I'm not sure why CZCustom isn't offering this as an option. (Maybe because they wouldn't get to sell all those P09 magazines?) I'm sure they could put a package together without the FPB and get it on the approved list.
  3. After doing a little more research, I think it's doable. If the weghts on the production list are close, a 75b is just under 35 oz. A J-Point is 0.5 oz. By the time you remove the sights and mill the slide, I bet you've already made weight for the J-Point. If not, a plastic guide rod and some light weight grips should be enough to get under the weight requirement. I might just have to do this.
  4. Does that mean if I can get a steel framed gun under 35oz with "internal modifications" I can shoot it in CO?
  5. You need to add one more option to your poll. "I would shoot CO if my CZ/Tanfo were legal."
  6. I'm not on the forums much anymore. sperman@dsperman.com

  7. And there's certainly no politics from those protecting the AD. I have no financial incentive one way or another. I don't think that is true of everyone in this discussion.
  8. I've heard through the grapevine that most of these charges are legit. The reason the receipts have not been provided is because the ED had to take a leave of absence this summer. Too much stress.
  9. 4.3.1.5.3: Visible evidence of a hit must be present to calibrate the popper. If no evidence is present, the request for calibration shall be denied.
  10. I can't get to FB at work, can you summarize what is said?
  11. Since when did a competitive advantage have anything to do with the application of PD rules?

  13. Just about any time one of the nifty bytes guys open their mouth here on the forum, they remind us that this project is being handled by unpaid volunteers.
  14. Yikes! I think it would be against forum rules to say what I really think about that response to Nimitz. It reminds me of someone else who spends a lot of time telling the country about all the great things he is going to do, but never gets around to actually doing any of them.
  15. If someone was awarded a contract, they should stop using "unpaid volunteers" as an excuse for not getting the work done in a timely fashion.
  16. A big plus 1. Our organization is big enough to pay for a modern scoring program and all that entails. I don't know why Kim decided "free" was the solution to this problem, but I strongly disagree. Get out the checkbook and do it right.
  17. From they USPSA Bylaws: That opens it up to a few more than 7 candidates.
  18. There was a thread on this a few years ago. This was Troy's response back then. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=126945
  19. This was a fantastic mini-series. Why tarnish it by adding a 2nd season. It would be nearly impossible to live up to the quality established.
  20. Unless IPSC is different, the MD has no say when it comes to the rules.

  22. Since the OP was the RM, I'm guessing these aren't the kind of responses he was hoping for.
  23. I would have to be convinced that the shooter heard and ignored the RO to issue a DQ.
  24. It was a sanctioned match. it was Halloween. I think that was Manny. Frank was dressed up like Jack Sparrow. http://themonstermatch.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Screen-shot-2011-08-17-at-10.14.49-PM.png
