  1. The purpose for me is simply the look that screams Infinity. Although I'm sure they do remove some weight. If you have 3 serrations they will be .250" wide If you have 4 or 5 serrations they will be .178" wide. Hope this helps....
  2. If you don't get an answer this morning, I'll measure mine this afternoon when I get home from work......
  3. You mean 5.4, yes. Go with the 6 inch set up. Rich Nope, I meant 4.5" or IMM length. It's an open gun minus the Cmore and comp. It's my favorite shoooting pistol. [/url]
  4. 4.5" Sight tracker......mine runs like a sub machine gun!!
  5. My first Infinity limited gun had 120 grit grip tape and was also used as my duty gun. While it was an awesome pistol to shoot, it murdered so many shirts with the grip tape, that I ended up selling it. You may be able to find a holster to protect your skin, but your shirt is still going to take a beating.
  6. It's an overuse injury and about the only thing to make it go away is rest. In my case, trying to work through it simply made it worse. Good luck!
  7. Wifey and I started another round of P90X today. It's been about 1.5-2 years since we've done it. It's a nice (although intense) change to the classic weights/cardio we've been doing. Now let's see if I can get rid of this extra 10 pounds I picked up this year.....
  8. Nope. I've done it in a 12x12 bedroom, but more space would probable make it easier. Just use scaled targets to make up for the distance.
  9. Its not a CCW, its my duty gun. As for the evidence locker, I'd have it back in a week unless I committed a crime. I'm currently carrying a G30 off duty, but I'm hoping for a M&P Shield this week for my Anniversary
  10. Yeah I pointed that out to him because it has been as issue with my Cmore on an open gun. We shot a lot in the rain this week and I didn't hear him complain of it.
  11. I worked with a CID Agent last week who had the Leupold slide ride on his Smith MP. I can't remember who he said had done the work. According to him, the sight "sleeps" after so many minutes of non-movement and then turns on with the next movement. It looked great and shot nice too.
  12. Jesse, I got up and went to my first match in over 4 months yesterday. It was fun, lots of fun and I picked up HOA in Limited as a bonus. Keep in mind, I haven't even dry fired in months so maybe the break did me some good. I had absolutely no expectations other than to have a good time with my friends. And I did....... Give it a try. Trace
  13. Seth, you're so tame these days....
  14. Yes, Danny Wisner and crew are top notch and produce great range and match ammo.
  15. You've got a great source of ammo in your neck of the woods!!
  16. I think he means your owning and knowing how to use a firearm is how we protect the Homeland....
  17. I'm not trying to scare you, I'm just giving you my perspective and relating to you how this year has gone for me. I've only shot 5 matches this year and the last one was in June. Fortunately, things are looking up for me. I hope you find the answers you are looking for!! Good luck
  18. Life happens. For the vast majority of us, this is just a game/hobby. If you can fit it into the schedule and you're having fun, keep going. If not, take the break. Just be aware that it may be harder to start back up after the break. Or at least it has been for me.
  19. Yeah, one of the guys at the meeting last night had been waiting since 2008
  20. Like the title says, after a 3+ year wait, I finally got to become a member of the Dallas Pistol Club tonight. And it's just a 17 mile drive from my place!! Live fire practice just got a whole lot easier
  21. What grip is on the pistol? If it's an older plastic grip and it hasn't already been done, you could have it contoured and reduced, which could help. Your friend might not appreciate that though......
