sidetracker, go to the uspsa website and look at the stage diagrams for this year's 3-gun champ. this should give you an idea of rounds. most clubs matches won't be that involved. http://www.uspsa.org go to the match results secton, click on the 2003 3-gun results and the list of diagrams will be there. good luck, lynn jones

Mistral404, if you get the Gram's Engineeing basepad, spring and follower, you can get 20 rounds in your sti mag. no modificatons required. the 20th round is a little tough to get in, but not much. i put the system on my open 170mm sti 38 super mag and i get 29 rounds. good luck, lynn jones

hi joe, welcome to the BE forums. i ride my thumb safety also. it's hard to tell you how much grip pressure to apply and thumb pressure. i have a firm grip on the gun which relates to a firm thumb pressure. lynn jones

BDH, you bring up a good question. my thoughts are as follows: 1) the safety area should be located where this type of situation should never happen. the safety area should have been on the side of the berm not on the end |__|x 2) 180 safety rules apply everywhere on the range including the safety area 3) the cro has complete control over safety on the stage. if competitor failed to comply with the ro, then the warnings of unsportsmen like conduct should be enforced. just my thoughts lynn jones

deke, you will probably have to do both. just wrap the barrel in some tuff leather, heat the flash suppessor gently, then put the lock pliars to it. this is what i would do. good luck lynn jones

matt, we had a neighbor like that in my first house... a couple of neighbors fixed that problem with the round up. the bad neighbor ask "what we thought happened to his yard" we said he needed water. ha ha. in my neighborhood now, my next door neighbor doesn't edge his yard. he cuts it like clockwork, but i have to edge the sidewalk for him. btw, he has a nice edger too! tightloop, me too.
