  1. hey ross, the reason i like the keoing hammer is that it takes no modification, just dop it in the gun. it is skeltionized, ( reduced mass ) made of stainless steel. the reduced mass make the trigger pull feel lighter. although the hammer is expensive, i like it. i don't hawk any thing that doesn't work for me. good luck. lynn
  2. hey patrick, you need to e-mail mike voight and express your concerns to him. he is on the rules committee for the rifle and shotgun rule books. dvc ya, lynn jones (Edited by lynn jones at 11:08 am on Nov. 15, 2002)
  3. mike, i was in the same boat as you. the uspsa only keeps the most recent 6 classifers. if you shoot a high "c" score, they will keep it and replace a higher score that is not within the most recent 6 classifiers. if you want to move up in class, attend a special classifer match, do well and your in "b class". but, don't get in any hurry. the compitition is just as tough in "b class as it is in "c class" and don't sandbag. lynn (i finally made master class this year) jones check out my history... 5. i lost the 8khz years ago.. i do double plug now! the 8khz is the range of were the timex watch alarm sounds, so i wear a raymond weil. keep protecting your hearing. lynn jones
  6. can we change the name of this thread to: shooting the upper a/b zone? you never known who is watching.
  7. this is a site i found where you can check your hearing loss. let me know what you think.. i think the 8khz range is broken, i can't hear a thing. http://www.freehearingtest.com/test.shtml lynn (Edited by lynn jones at 2:27 pm on Nov. 14, 2002) (Edited by lynn jones at 9:04 am on Nov. 15, 2002)
  8. i have a ghost holster and i really like it. the new (newest version) arredondo holster has multiple locking positions and is cheaper than the limcats. ralph showed it holster to me at the area 2 champ. if i didn't already have a ghost, i'd buy the arredondo.. fwiw, lynn jones L-843
  9. oops, sorry erik. didn't follow the link correctly. i believe well oiled machines work better. you just have to get use to oil everywhere. wipe the gun down before dry firing and between stages. lynn
  10. TMC on the ok corral stage, you didn't have to lay the gun flat. you could have put it in a vertical position leaning it against the side. live and learn. lynn
  11. you guys try using moble one? lynn jones
  12. i think you will enjoy the difference..
  13. are you talking about the tri-glide system? if so, i say do it. i use the system in all my guns. i also put a doug keoing hammer in the gun to make an outstanding trigger pull. dvc ya, lynn jones L-843
  14. let's leave the system alone. if we had these divisions in place years ago, there would be no IDPA and the USPSA would have more members. lynn jones L-843 (Edited by lynn jones at 3:32 pm on Nov. 1, 2002)
  15. i learned from the best.. thanks vince. i just beat you to the punch. it's 3:12 pm here...he he

  17. ok, first of all... the hi-cap magazine is the wrong term. this is what we were brian washed with by the anit-gun people. it is a standard capacity magazine.. the new magazines are limited to 10 rounds.. see the difference? if the law is renewed, nothing changes, it stays as it is now. keep up the good fight in oz land. see ya'll later , that's southern for "g'day mate" lynn jones
