Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hmm mine is... all the rage in ipsc open is short light guns.... Bob
  2. Steve the problem with this is that a holster that is legal for one person might not be legal for another, or if you use a different belt it also might not pass the day light test... as far as your fobus it depends on which mag/gun you are using.... Bob
  3. I think the guy should be DQed because if you handle a mag with live rounds in it your not really touching the rounds but the mag, so the same can be said about handling the gun with a snap cap in it. but what about the safe area? well where did he put his gun on? safe area dq as per above. at the line under ro supervision then at that point I think the line becomes the safety area and he handled the ammo again... just my .02 cents Bob
  4. Headshot I'm one of the guy's that will not be shooting IDPA anymore because of how the rule change was handled and bill's response when he didn't get the warm reception he was expecting.... I also was the guy that got to the match the day before and set it up, then I ran people thru the match then I stayed after to tear down the match. I also brought new shooters into the sport and took them under my wing to make them feel at home the best I could. I'm glad you won't be missing me... Bob
  5. If you look through the belt slot area of the holster with it on the belt/body, you should not be able to see any daylight. If you can see through this belt tunnel area, the holster is not approved. Duane I still see an So seeing a bit of daylight and DQing a shooter with those words in the rulebook.... Bob
  6. yep what mark said... I have one and I would like to say you won't be disappointed.... I'm sure our sponsor will get you one if you need it..... Hey maybe this could turn out to be a good thing for BE sno

  8. D. Cover a minimum of 50% of the magazine tube. Base pads are not considered in this measurement. it would be unloaded Bob
  9. but also my post on the water measurement isn't meant to be a joke either, since the rule book doesn't allow you to just measure the mag how you feel like measuring it, then you must measure it by some means that takes into account for the internal dimenstions of the mag. The book doesn't say to measure the outside of the back of the mag does it? Bob
  10. the LO doesn't appear legal to me.... Bob
  11. PC 2. Disqualification (DQ): A. Results from unsportsmanlike conduct, unfair actions, or the use of illegal equipment, which, in the opinion of the MD, tends to make a travesty of the defensive shooting sport will result in an FTDR or DQ from the entire match at the discretion of the match director. Repeated offenses reported to the AC or HQ can result in having membership revoked.
  12. The problem is that you won't just get a ftdr but a match dq and if you are a repeated offender then you get your idpa membership pulled.... Bob

  14. Even if he does make rules to suit his business it's ok because IDPA also is his business.... if you go to the bar you can't bring in your own beer, so what's wrong if Wilson decides that in order to play his game you have to use his stuff..... seams pretty smart to me.... Bob
