In the "heavy" hard hitting spirit the 10mm out performs the 45 so, if you are aginst the 140mm mag limit then vote for 10rd max & its all good, right? Not at 165pf. It performs about the same. I don't dislike the 10mm cartridge, I just think that if you allow 10mm, 140mm mags, auto shotguns, optics etc. it will take away from the sprit of the division. Hurley The spirit & survival of the division are important. This division, as pointed out by others, is pretty light in participation.

Heavy Tac- essentially you shoot the same stuff as Tac Optics but with a .308, yes 9mm & Semi auto shotguns allowed. Heavy Optics- Just like Heavy Metal/Heavy Irons, you shoot a .45 & a pump shotgun with the difference being you can add an optic to your .308 rifle. What are your thoughs suggestions & reasoning?

What is your opnion on allowing the 10mm auto cartridge in the "Heavy" classes such as HeMan, Heavy Metal etc? Do you think capacity in Heavy Metal should be limited in pistols to ten rounds or not be restricted beyond the standard 140mm?

This issue would be of particular interest to lady shooters.

I like 155s. I have shot 180s etc & do not care for the recoil pulse that everyone else likes. I use around 4.7gr clays @ 1.9.

FWIW AA has a new low pro system out. I am currently running the old system & have never had a gas issue off the block.

One thing that stands out in the movie is, the Zombies in Zombie Land were faster than the stereotypical zombie.

I get interferance if its on silent, vibrate or ring. I have to turn mine completely off or calls & texts drive me nuts when wearing electronic ears. If anyone or their range bag (with a phone on in it) is within 20yds, I pick up every call or text. My buddy has an iPhone that continusouly pings for internet & it can be very distracting. I love electronic ears but I shot all last year with peltor presidential series (non electric) muffs just because of it. I bet it wont be long and filters get installed to eliminate the electronic clutter.

I get interference with mine & it doesnt seem to matter what cell carrier it is.

Good topic. On occasion I have found myself @ slide lock.... I do pretty solid reloads, well this gun I got used does the rest for me if I load from slide lock. I kinda like it! I will however have some things checked out on it since some of you have mentioned it can be a symptom of potential issues. Thanks guys.

Those are actually pistons you're talking about. If you're going to shoot competition you want to run the light piston & preferably have it "sealed" by surecycle.

The benchrest community has some interesting information on this topic. try 6mmbr.com benchrest guys seem to be 50/50 on cleaning. I just try to do something to keep rust @ bay and knock out the powder fouling usually consisting of a snake and kroil.

If there's stuff thats hard to knock down I use the hotter winchester black box trap loads, I use walmart value pack for most practice & sometimes matches. I work with 7 1/2 - 9 shot. 1 1/8oz shot - 7/8 oz.

I was talking to another friend of mine and he said he put the CMMG kit in 1 gun & it ran superb but it didnt run as well in another gun. I found that pretty interesting, I think I'm going to to try one, they are such a bargan.
