  1. rifle steel varies in size, Everything is at a minimum 3MOA, most are over 4MOA size targets
  2. buckshot, realistically i think a guy would be good w/20 for planning purposes
  3. there are no shot size restrictions except for certain stages. no slings (unless u want to for some odd reason) there isnt a buck shot count because there arent shot restrictions (see above) carts- not going to be necessary
  4. slugs- predominantly 50-80ish most are 20x20 plates a few paper, we want them readily hitable
  5. There are a few minor changes that these diagrams do not reflect. I will correct this as I can. Stage 3 is laid out different as is 4. Stage 3 is shotgun start to the left & 90 degrees from the "roof top" with 8 5xs, you'll ditch & go to the roof where there are 10 steel targets & a few CLOSE paper. Stage 4, most of the steel went to stage 3, so you got 4 rifle steel. The paper came from stage 3 & is going in a stream. The reason for this is a safety, property line conflict. All the targets are the same, just got adjusted between 2 stages. Ultimately, it is probably better with the changes. Stage 9- the bonus is a full size 20x40 as is the HVT. They're going to be white & painted between stages. Although not impressive on "paper" I think the highlights are going to be stages 6 & 1. Did I mention there are 3 door breeches on stage 5????? Head shot question, within 12yds post to website vs FB.... Hard to say.

  7. irons are irons, mag- 6.13.7 "cannot exceed 20rd cap" so, plug it or whatever u have to do to cap it @ 20
  8. Apparently electronic non-magnified optics are the same as traditional iron sights, which is news to me, but be that as it may, I assume no-one will mind when I show up in "Tac-Iron" with JPoints on my shotgun and pistol. Since it's not an advantage on the rifle, it must not be an advantage on the shotgun or pistol either. See you in a few weeks. This isnt the appropriate forum or thread for pot stirring. If you have a serious question or comment concerning equipment or rules you can contact the MD- "BigBear, or the Range Master- ABN_RGR
  9. Here's the bottom line: I drove my Kia Rio to EVERY stage. I rubbed the bumper once. I did it multiple times, even after a big rain & did not spin tires at all, I did not have any mud on my car. Be it duly noted if you only drive on pavement day to day and not off road ever, your luck will probably not be as good. Those are current conditions, there are 2 spots we are planning to improve that will make it cake. -Ruf
  10. Maybe I got "lucky" but I had my smith take a delta elite & put a .40 barrel in it. He did whatever it is he does & it runs. I had 2 issues, loading factory length ammo in Tripp 10mm mags & once I went wild with heavy slide glide in freezing temps. Thats it. Outside of that its been sheer pleasure to work with. Interestingly I had a factory colt SS single stack in .4o that ran good & I couldnt hardly give it away. I guess it was too plain.
  11. 90% no but there are a couple of areas I am working on that are going to require challenging solutions to avoid the sling. I'm not opposed to slinging a gun but @ a match its always easier if you can side step it. Bring one just in case, although I feel confident we can avoid them.
  12. App sent in UPS overnight and got room reserved at match hotel....life is good YES! Good work!
