I use 2 magnets and stick a 30 cal box to the side of the strong mount. That way I can load 800-1200 rounds without stopping to dump the bin.

Seat technology as advanced greatly in the past 10 years.

Bob I would say irons are not really needed on a shotgun for 3 gun if you know your POA/POI for various ammo. If you want to try a Benelli M2 24" I will have mine at the match this weekend, you are welcome to test drive it.

Not to argue but I have stuck a case in a carbide sizing die. It was a 223 in a Dillon carbide sizing die. Through stupidity I also broke off the base trying to remove it. I called Dillon and asked if the die could be saved. They said sure, just send it back to us and we'll send you a new one. I asked if the gentleman heard that my stupidity caused the problem. He said yes and still told me to send the die back. That was about 15 years ago, but speaks volumes about Dillon. Pat Dillon now sells a stuck case remover for which consists of a drill bit, tap, screw, bushing and washer. Works like a charm for those 223 brass that stick. I had a rash of those recently and found the inside of the die to be quite dirty causing the stickiness.

I have a set of Warrens on an M&P 9 Pro that works great for IDPA

+1 I recently built a rifle up from a Firebird lower, it is tight and accurate. The accuracy is not from my gunsmithing skills, but from the precision parts.

Well the CMC replicas were manufactured in Japan so someone could have lost it on Iwo Jima, just not during WW II

Help a brother out

I recently installed a Nordic Comp extension and tube clamp. Much to my dismay the tube clamp did not stay put when shooting and made a nice smooth spot on the Benelli barrel. Any ideas how much torque to put on the clamp to keep it in place?

I have had a primer go off on 2 occasions with a Dillon 650. Both times were without incident and both were with Federal Small Pistol Primers. 1. Seating into a crimped piece of 9mm brass. Results were a loud "Pop" noise, no damage to the reloader but I did have to change underpants. 2. The primer rotation disk had a piece of debris under a primer, which raised it up and the shell plate sheared off the anvil on the primer. Results were a dull "Pop" with no damage to the reloader.

Maybe those who use the term "shotty / shottie" are not actually referring to a firearm: http://en.wikipedia...._%28cannabis%29 -
When is a deal done?
kaiserb replied to warpspeed's topic in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum
Actual in contract law for there to be an agreement/contract there has to be mutual consideration, so the waiting for a payment (singular consideration from one party) for the deal to occur is not quite correct. Mutual consent is the first contract requirement to begin the process, then offer/acceptance, then exchange of mutual consideration. http://www.expertlaw...ntract_law.html -
Cross Timbers alone has more than 2 classifiers in a 6 month period. If you're shooting with a club in the DFW area that has access to an outdoor range like Cross Timbers does, all you have to do is ask and one will be scheduled. We (Cross Timbers) actually have one classifier each quarter officially and several other opportunities to classify as many of the SOs schedule ad hoc classifiers in the weeks and months prior to major matches. .

I saw this a few months ago. It was great. Another good one is the White Stripes Documentary on the Under Great White Northern Lights http://www.whitestripes.com/film/film.html

... Tennis racket tape sounds kind of ghetto for a firearm. Especially since you'd have to apply electrical (or other) tape to keep it from unraveling. I'll keep it in mind if nobody has any info on thicker sandpaper style grip tape. Hey, I live in the ghetto...

This may sound goofy, but one guy I shoot with uses tennis racket wrap on his grip. He wraps the grip like a tennis racket and cuts a hole for the mag release etc. It increases the grip diameter by adding 1/8" all the way around.

I have some recent video of myself shooting a stage requiring tac-sequence (1-2-1) on 2 targets at the start. I messed up and doubled the first target, I spent the next 5 seconds of the stage shooting and griping about the screw up. Then I picked up speed after a reload (mentally I went into reload mode), and finished out the second half of the stage.

Yesterday I watched an Orb Weaver spider in my backyard gift wrap a cricket. I thought now if I had 100 or so of these spiders I would not here all the chirp chirp chirp noise at night.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
kaiserb replied to Duane Thomas's topic in Books, Movies, TV & Music
If you understand the move Brazil http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088846/ then you can understand most movies As for Ben Button, I have no idea, I guess I was lost in the translation also. -
I am at the point where I need to change out the extractor in my M&P 9Pro. The gun has about 15K rounds through it and is having the usual symptoms indicating the need for an extractor replacement. I figured I would poll the crowd and see which extractor you prefer and why.

Kudos to Apex&SSS. Need info on DIY shortening trigger take up.
kaiserb replied to jsneff's topic in S&W (M&P, etc)
The only DIY I have heard for shortening the take up involves bending the trigger bar.
