Listening to the WOD-cast Podcast the other day they were interviewing a Strongman competitor. His experience was grippers alone do not build functional grip strength that one should augment their grip by doing dead-lifts or by dead hanging from a pull up bar. He stated that that build better functional grip from building forearm muscles. Episode here: http://wodcast.libsyn.com/90-kalle-beck

You may need to review that MSDS again or figure out how gun powder works. Gun powder is flammable but it does not give of vapors which would be the concern for having a pilot light or other open flame nearby.

Take the front pins out and back pins out it will separate. Or take the castle nut off the tube.

Next time just tell them to "Will Call" your order and drive over to Tempe and pick it up. -
Springfield XDs (any striker fired action is now legal in SSP)

I believe they will update everyone's status October 1. Currently everyone re-certified or not is listed as an SO because they are a valid SO (under the old rule book) for matches up until Sept 30, 2013.

Anyone playing by the new rules yet, and your thoughts so far?
kaiserb replied to ihocky2's topic in IDPA Shooting
So you mean when someone is certified as a Safety Officer that does not mean they are just a "Match Observer" and the word Safety actually implies something... hmmm.... [sarcasm] -
Tear down: who is responsible for it and making it happen?
kaiserb replied to ProGunGuy's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
That rule applies here also. -
The word outlaw does not appear in the new rule book. You may need to read it again.

Speak up or hold tongue when RO's use the wrong commands
kaiserb replied to Sandbagger123's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
When I hear "The shooter indicates ready" I generally reply with "The shooter indicates the RO does NOT know proper range commands" It is not popular but it does get most ROs to correct their script. -
It probably applies quite a bit of lube also.
