OK, I did just find something. Wally world, teen at the gun counter. I jokingly (read sarcasticly) asked, "Where is all the ammo?" He told me, "In June, the price of ammo is going up 500%" I ask, "Where did you get this information" Him, "From the guy who buys all the ammo on Sunday when it gets here. He must know, because he buys so much." He was spreading this garbage to another customer. I told them both that that was ridiculous, and ........political stuff......

I too enjoyed the match, weather and all. I can think of days when I pleaded with the good lord for just a drop. Those prayers were answered Saturday. Got 2 matches under my belt now! Thanks to all that made it happen.

Shot 4th overall in production, but didn't know it. I kept thinking I'll be the next one, and other names were being called that I knew I didn't see above mine on the prelim stage score sheets. I finally walked over to the announcer, and asked for the production list,.....4th. They were already on prize number 14 when I got there. They let me pick 2 prizes, but I still hate it.

Still waiting on mine. It makes me feel like they'll be here pretty soon being that all you guys got yours within days recently. I wasn't in a "hurry" for these, just curious about ETA. Nor, do I want to be a pest to them, clogging up email, and phone lines. Never dealt with MG before, but they have a good rep here.

I only make sure that my ammo chrono's PF. Of course, the usual visual inspection for high primers, dents, and such as I do with all of my reloads. I guess I should case gauge them, but it has not been a problem in several thousand rounds thru my sig 229.

I just ordered some montana gold 124 cmj's last week. I haven't got a return call or e-mail asking about an ETA. Don't really know what matches to sign up for, cause I don't know what ammo I'll be able to load. Anyone have any idea about how long it's taking from order --> receive??? I've got some 15 rounders for my mountain eagle compact. edit= the spring is a circular spring that sits flat against the back of the mag, with a coil under the follower. (think: yo yo that you fish with.) I've never seen this design anywhere else. Might have something to do with it being a double stack.

Glad your ok. Why the round didn't eject? Maybe no pressure on the frame??? Think extreme limp wristing. Why it went off. I can't tell you.

I had almost all of the channels available. I got so sick of it all, I had all of em turned off, except for 20 of the basic channels. TV in general has gotten ridiculous.

Whatever you get will be fine. Make sure it fits/works, and you are comfortable manipulating and shooting it. Get a sling. P-mags are great. I got an aftermarket grip on mine, and a good trigger (3lb single stage). As far as sights, I shot open sights for a couple of years, then put on an EO tech. It really depends on the match. Long shots = magnified optic for me. Closer targets say <100yds then no magnification. Good luck, and let us know. Go to a local 3-gun match, and I'm sure more than a few of the guys/girls will let you try out their rigs. Find out what YOU like before you buy, and it'll save you mucho dinero.

Use a large beach towel, and put your brass in it. Pour a generous amount of "Prep-all" (found in any automotive paint section) on the brass. Make a "boat" out of the towel and "tumble" brass from end to end (think reverse slinky). This makes the brass shiney and clean with no media in any holes.

At Miculek idpa I have included: -gps coordinates -map -specific turn by turn directions I also am a GPS junkie. I had been checking satallite imagery for years, even before it was the popular thing to do. I can remember the first us geological survey images in black and white. Now it's all color. Boy do things change.

I have a G17 with a robar style grip reduction, and wondered if this is acceptable? Does major/minor PF matter here? I just signed up, I'll read the rules later
