  1. I have never shot one, but did pick up one at a gun show. I was amazed at how good the grip felt on that gun. Good stuff.
  2. I used my fathers "golf" cart when I ran the LA State IDPA match, then I saw some of these out at the LaRue 3-gun. I just couldn't think of a reason not to. I built the equipment trays on the back myself, but I still need to add some more long-gun areas for my buddies rifles/shotties.
  3. Grease will help, but there should be some resistance. Smoothness and consistancy will never fail you.
  4. That is the main reason why I reload
  5. I'm from the school of in between. I spray CLP or WD-40 in there, maybe hoppes no 9, then spray out with compressed air. Leaves a "very" slight layer of film/residue. This is all I do. I'm sure it lubricates a little, but there is not enough left to even wipe out. So, where do I fit in here? lube or no lube. Technically there is some there...but, enough to count?
  6. The last time I saw one I was maybe 8 years old, and for some reason in my mind they were bottle neck. no telling whats in my mind though
  7. If .30 carbine is a bottleneck case, you will need to use some lube anyway.
  8. I feel like Travis from "Old Yeller" everytime I put down any animal, but to think that people get enjoyment from this just tears me up.
  9. Harm to children does not set well with me.
  10. minigun stage was here
  11. Yes, and there was a "dummy round" (no pun intended) somewhere in the mag, and you were not allowed to touch the gun before you pulled it out from under the dummy during your run. I think this one was my 2nd fav, right behind....... THE MINIGUN! Everytime I heard that thing go off I gave a fist pump then yelled woooo whooo!
  12. I caught a LOT of "a** raper / dummy fu**er jokes" about my position at the dummy. See for yourself..... Go ahead, I'm numb to it by now. Flame on.
  13. More fun than I could have imagined. Thank you to anyone who had a part in making this match happen! And, I got to shoot a minigun!
  14. Kyle O

    Which one?

Fiction, I consider anything fiction unless it happened to me firsthand. now, Timex or Rolex?
  15. LaRue is the straw that broke the camels back for me. When I travel to a match, or anywhere for that matter, I'm the paranoid guy who takes as much out of the back of the truck as he can, and puts in the cab anytime I stop and walk away from the truck. Not anymore! Wife gone w/the camera, but it is an Undercover brand. Makes the whole back of the truck look bigger/better to me.
  16. I have been wanting one for more than a year now, and finally did it today. Boy, these things are nice. Now, I'm thinking about what all I can put in there
  17. I have a 550, and love it! In fact, I won a sqare deal B, and Dillon traded me full value for another 550b NOW I HAVE 2 550's! BTW, My production is around 350 per hour at a leisurely pace. No need to ever hurry when reloading. Reminds me of what an old Pharmacist told me once, "Don't EVER hurry, or you'll hurry up and kill someone." Holds true.
  18. I've been prepping .223 for the past 2 hours! I'm fixing to get a power trimmer lined up. I got most of a Lyman power trimmer, but need some parts to make it work.
  19. Is it ok for me to "not" be disappointed "before" the match? Because I think it's great, and I haven't even been there yet.
