I have a Tactical Compact as my carry gun/ back up, I love it

So its ben about 7 months since the last post, is the 20 coming on strong? I'm about to take the plunge. I won't be shooting any big matches but I am competitive, I'm 5'4" so I have small hands, the small shells sound pretty good, also I'm left handed and would like to try a lefty shotgun, any leftys out there tell me your thoughts

I drive a 1989 Acura Legend its ben a good car but the tranny is starting to slip, its not worth fixin so I think its gone, need to start looking for another good deal

I sent my CQB to Wilson for some warranty work and thought i would receive it back last Friday, SO i called some buddys up and started a single stack group for Sunday. the pistol is a no show, my buddy, Buddy said I could shoot his Les Bear so I wouldn't miss out on what I started, I've never held this pistol before and here I am shooting a match, not good, I'm left handed and he has a over sized safety that ended up hitting my knuckle the hole time, engagin the safety just enough to not let the gun fire, I was holding down the right side but that wasn't helping. Anyway lesson learned, don't shoot a match with a gun you have never shot before. PS it was still a blast and thank you Buddy

Sorry that happened, It sucks to lose parts of your body, you will heal up just fine and you have the right attitude. Its just going to take a little time, I cut most of my thumb off and the tip of my index finger and I do just fine( its my weak hand though) Good luck and watch getting lead in those wounds

Maybe he can still shoot right handed, I have my right thumb below the joint missing and the tip of my pointer(still have the joint but you cant tell) missing, cut off the same time. I'm left handed but I do pretty good weak hand, my hands are small too, I just hold the pistol a little diff, and put a short flat trigger. I'm sorry that happened but your buddy is going to be fine

I have two STI's, a EDGE and a TACTICAL compact both in 40cal, neither gun needed tuning they ran right out of the box. I shoot the Edge for competition and carry the tactical, both guns have been shot very dirty, with dirty mags and function just fine, I'm a trim carpenter so the pistol gets full of MDF dust, this stuff is almost like baby powder, it will find every nook cranny in the pistol and never had a problem. I trust my Life with that pistol.

By ate away do you mean that they taper off towards the chamber. I don't know the round count of my pistol, but I have put about 7lbs of E3 through it and that is what my barrel looks like So I checked out my back up gun and it looks the same, maybe that's how its supposed to be
