  1. Can you list all your add-on and changes?
  2. It's likely they can sell it for this price because they have a different business model of selling a lot more guns at a lower price. Keep in mind that the more expensive brands likely have a markup for name value and due to high demand for a good product. I don't expect the JM to stay this cheap unless they are really expecting to saturate the 3gun and tactical market with it.
  3. Will anything other than the FSL allow grabbing 4 at a time? Can the molle mouts be put close enough together for a quad grab?
  4. Can anyone comment on why I might want c-rums to cut a slot in the lifter vs no slot?
  5. I stalked budsgunshop and grabagun.com for over a week before I got mine.
  6. Technically you'd need two equal 43oz weights to calibrate the arms and make sure its balanced.
  7. We really should have a picture of your beard to know what it is we're sacrificing for the greater good.
  8. I need some dummy 12ga rounds to practice reloads with my soon to arrive JM 930. I know Fiocchi makes some, but I know someone locally that can maybe make me some. Should I ask him to leave in a spent primer, no powder, and then usual shot or how about leaving the primer pocket empty? Suggestions? I just can't justify paying shipping on a 25rd box of dummy shells when I can get them cheaper. Thanks, Chris
  9. I think that's special 38 super brass for +p loads.
  10. Mine should be at FFL next Tuesday according to Fedex tracking from grabagun.
  11. Keep in mind this poll was specifically regarding STI/SVI 5" guns, not glocks.
  12. Mark, Given the development of this new technique, are there plans to make a vest that you can grab 4 from in one pull?
  13. Awesome! Post more when you get the FSL, please.
  14. Hey guys, this is good stuff for a lot of us beginners to read and take to heart. Like OP, I'm in much the same boat of dreaming of that awesome limited blaster. Meanwhile I've got a very functional old school 1911 that shoots better than I do. It's not Limited but it is L-10 and it is completely worthy of the being shot-the-piss-out-of until I can save up for a 2011 in 1-2 years. To the OP, you're not alone in this internal struggle. To the veterans that so willingly give us the advice we often read but don't understand or aren't ready to understand, thank you. Chris
  15. Anyone just making an aftermarket lifter? What's it cost to get a lifter welded?
  16. For stellar modern instrumental bluegrass look up: Goat Rodeo Sessions Strength in Numbers Bela Fleck - best banjo player alive now that Earl passed away: Bluegrass album: Drive Classical: Perpetuo Moto (spelling?) Jazz: any Flecktones album but particularly Left of Cool Anything by Edgar Meyer Most distinctive vocals ever: Tim Waits, favorite album is Real Gone There, that list should keep anyone interested in something new busy for a few years.
  17. How are people using the magnetic holders? Pics of setup with mags in place? Are they limited to any specific divisions?
  18. I'm definitely pro mustard and pro mayo. They each have something different to offer, though I'll give kudos to mustard for being so low calorie relative to mayo. Yes, light mayo exists, but why bother?
  19. Why is it that when I decide to bet back into shooting after a couple years off, things get scarce again? People need to realized that we're the ones making this problem.
  20. Trace, that's seriously badass. Congrats! How long is the barrel and how well does the supressor work with full power ammo?
  21. The smarta$$ answer is as follows: The top shooters are winning with the guns that they put 100,000s of rounds through a year. I had an email exhange with a professional open shooter recently. He disclosed that he's shooting anywhere from 700-900 rounds a day, 4-5 days a week, and that's not couting all the dry fire he does. The only time he usually takes off is a few days after a Major. It doesn't matter what you shoot. If you get something reliable, take a class, and put the trigger time in, you'll get better. If you do that to the extreme, you'll be a top shooter too. You'll also find that most top level shooters aren't secretive about what they shoot, as they're often sponsored and paid to shoot what they shoot.
  22. I tried voting in another poll and get the same error. Somethings off in the permissions.
  23. Just curious... If you weight 10 pulls at a time on a +/- .1 scale, is that good enough to not need a +/- .05 scale? I'm still using a manual scale, and that's how I've gotten around the issue. Sure it doesn't tell you how consistant each individual powder charge is, but its good enough for adjusting to an average charge weight. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not an expert, not loading precision rifle or shooting long distances. Its just a poor man's alternative.
  24. Can someone post a JM 930 lifter pre and post welding so I have a clue as to what we're talking about as far as the welding is concernd?
  25. Maybe its an issue with permissions. You're a moderator, maybe you have it turned on and we dont?
