I started to get info about Iran, then used it a ton this weekend while broadcasting at the US Open. the listeners LOVED it, lots of interaction back and forth.

Dropped out of Facebook 2 years ago and I'm not likely to join Twitter. I don't need to be connected all of the time and I don't like the way the NSA and others are using this meta-data that they're accumulating on every American citizen. Therefore, I've been trying to minimize my computer time. The FISA court has already told the NSA that they're recording and keeping records of things over which they have absolutely no legal authority. That's gone far beyond a slippery slope.

What amazed me about Twitter is the idea that as the uber secret operation to kill bin Laden was underway in Pakistan, there was a guy just down the street tweeting updates on a minute by minute basis. It was an interesting read.

I also love it for up to the minute sports and news.
