GentlemanJim
That really reminds me of a time when I had no eyebrows or eyelashes. The use of propellants or liquid fuels may not be the very best solution for ants. They can however reduce the amount of time required for combing your hair. I do remember that it seemed to be a good idea at the time. Jim
SiG Lady
I got rid of a ground-based hornets' nest by pouring in petrol, tossing in a match and walking away. Boy, did that work great. Fun,too.

AlamoShooter
a friend told me that they used a cutting torch to pump Ox + gas into a red ant mound and that they got an impressive bump and ground blast. I don't remember how he set it off

HSMITH
I go a little old school on ants, I still use a lighter and a can of ether as a flame thrower. #9 did do a very nice job though, wonder if the 4756 I don't have a use for will work as well...... JFD
Ground hornets and yellow jackets always die a flaming death in my yard. Usually in revenge for a sneak attack.

Scooter
They have people that professionally kill gophers at farms by pumping methane into the holes, then lighting a match. Boom! All dead.
