How about getting the 2008 dates out early for us working folks to plan ahead!!!! I would love to shoot a Nationals one year, but it is just luck of the draw for me because of the late scheduling. Our schedule is such that we know our work days years in advance (cyclical schedule) so it is not much of a problem to draw days if you know the dates. However after the draw passes it becomes infinitely more difficult. It would be so nice to be able to schedule match dates if they are out. Mooney Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 I expressed this very issue to my wonderful Area Director at practice one night- he acknowledges the issue, and promised to bring it up in person at a board meeting in the near future. I also had addressed this via email with our president last year, to no avail. RB (the AD) said that there were issues (especially this past year) with arrangements due to negotiation tactics some of the potential facilities used. Hopefully this will get solved, as I had spousal permission and financial ability to attend this year, to find out the dates quite a while after our vacation schedule at work was set in stone. Sigh..... Oh well...with any luck I'll be changing jobs in February to one with the same amount of vacation but no restricted months during shooting season.
