135 gr. 9mm Blue Bullets

Has anyone tried the 135gr. Blue Bullets?  I've been thinking of giving them a try to see how they compare with the 125 and 147.  While at an IDPA match another shooter said these were his favorite bullets but I didn't get a chance to talk to him long enough to find out why.  I usually load WW231 powder but do have some Bullseye and Titegroup on hand.  Just interested to see what others think.

i had a 2011 gun builder say his fav was the 135 blues and titegroup.  i loaded some and while they fit in the hundo gauge, they did not plunk in the actual barrel, so will have to play around with OAL.

I’ve been shooting the 135 TCs for a couple years now. Currently I load with 3.6g VV n320 to an OAL of 1.115” for an average PF of 129. I have used 3.5g of W231 as well for a similar PF in my CZ Shadow.

I really like these bullets,  but weigh them to get an accurate weight on the lot you receive.  Old lots would be between 133-136g, newer lots are between 136-139.
3.5g W231 gives me 130pf with G17.

Well, my box of 9mm 135  gr arrived so it was straight to the loading bench.  I saw on the Blue Bullets web site they listed the starting load for W231 at 3.6 so that’s what I tried.  When the first round came off the trusty old Star Reloader I checked the length and it was 1.150 which is the COL they listed on their data.  Then to the range with the Sig X5  Legion.  I found this load to be pretty light but the gun functioned fine.  From the bench at 25 yards the accuracy was far better than I expected, 1 5/8” except for one flier.  Will have to run this again to be sure it was not just luck.  Hopefully next week I’ll be able to run some of the bullets through my Glock 34 and see what it does.  I know a lot of shooters have been using these bullets, but I must have been “asleep at the switch” on this one.  So far, so good.

I endorse the 135 gr TCs.  I have loaded and fired about 7K of those in 3-Gun and USPSA competitions.  I only load them to minor PF.  They have been accurate and feed 100% of the time in both my 2011 and SIG P320s.  I load them to 1.150" OAL.

I’ve been using blue 135tc’s .356 for the last few years they’ve been very good out of my CZ’s, load them at 1.125 with 3.6 grains of clean shot, makes 129-131pf depending on the gun. Only issue is they did change the mold awhile back so it did mess up my load a bit.

I've been using them for 5 years or so.  My reason for choosing them over other options is that it's pretty much a Goldilocks projectile.  The profile has fed well in all of my firearms, accuracy seems above average compared to other coated options, and it's a compromise between 124 and 147 - lower muzzle flip than lighter bullets without that slow-motion slide feeling you can get with heavier bullets.  Have used them with Titegroup, Prima V, Sport Pistol and N320, no issues.

Any problems with the bevel base? Maybe the coatings protect much better but with regular lead I always had leading problems and poor accuracy.
