  1. I used to use SR 4756 in my STI 38 super comp gun but it has been discontinued. Now Longshot at 8.5 grains with an Everglades 115 HP makes 175 pf.
  2. 3.6 grains of Ramshot Competition with a 230 grain BBI makes 168 pf in my Sig P320 45.
  3. 40 minor is really soft shooting. my 40 minor load out of a P320 180gr BBI 3 grains Red Dot 1.15 oal 140 pf
  4. Unfortunately a non-captive guid rod with a bushing adaptor will bump you out of SSP. A.1.4 SSP Excluded Modifications (Non-Inclusive list): A.1.4.5 Slide inserts to accommodate a different recoil assembly design.
  5. BBI delivers every order I place in less than a week.
  6. one primer...tap the thing out and move on. Like Nolan said...one primer isnt a grenade. But then again I don't wear gloves, face shield or hearing protection when I load either.
  7. 180 BBI 1.150 oal 4.0 grains TG for 170 pf major...3.0 for 140 pf minor.
  8. I us RC primarily for 45ACP but I have tested it in 9mm Ramshot Competition 147 grain BBI OAL 1.150 2.8 grains 3.0 grains 3.2 grains 843 889 864 843 867 922 882 874 926 859 912 926 844 871 906 854.2 882.6 908.8 125.5 129.7 133.5 P320 P320 P320
  9. Because CZ's have notoriously short/tight chambers I load all of my 9 minor ammo at 1.10. this makes them reliable in all of my 9mm handguns.
  10. I played around with a G22 open gun... Here's a snip of my load data. With a G19 you should be very careful with startin loads. Berry's 180 grain plated bullet OAL 1.125 HS6 Powder 6.5 grains 6.8 grains 7.0 grains 811 912 949 909 933.5 954.7 873 920.3 983.5 976.1 942 1017 161.5 168.3 172.4 G22 comp G22 comp G22 comp
  11. Agreed...I always buy the green can.
  12. Brakleen is my go-to cleaner. Esspecially for my P320's. Blow them out with air when done.
  13. without reading every word from every reply.... Personally I think your crimp is too tight...379 -.380 should be all you need. overcrimpimimg will bulge the case just enough to make it fail case gauge, esspecially the uber tight EGW gauge and a tight match barrel chamber. I only case gauge rounds that I take to matches, it all runs whether it's case gauged or not.
  14. <<Man, that's a ton of crimp. But I'd still shoot them.>> Same, why waste them. Unless your a bullseye shooter.
  15. My load data for coated 135's shows 3.4 grains as a good place to start. 135 grain BBI coated 1.150 3.4 grains Red Dot 959 925 960 924 954 946 960 930 979 936 964 930 936 931 974 923 966 938 971 941 968 946 969 940 956 955 967 927 968 943 960 926 960 946 950 935 966 947 956 926 961.2 941.3 963.1 933.8 129.7 127 130 126 G34 P320 Stock 2 CZ 85C
  16. I bought a case from Powder Valley. The first 200 all went bang in my BUL TAC 4.25. They're gogd to go for me.
  17. Powder Valley has/had Servicios Aventuras SP primers. I bought some last night to try. I bought a case of 5000 which were delivered on Friday, loaded 100 9mm and shot them today...no issues at all. Every one of them went bang on the first hit. I shot them out of a BUL TAC 4.25 with a bone stock trigger. I would say they are a good buy.
  18. I have found that it is best to load BBI 147 gr at 1.10 oal. Testing was with my 85C, SP01 & Shadow 2 plus a Stock 2. Actually the Stock 2 preferred them at 1.095. Loading at this length lets them chamber in all of my 9mm guns.
  19. Powder Valley has/had Servicios Aventuras SP primers. I bought some last night to try.
  20. I have loaded most of the plated, jacketed and coated bullets out there. For price, availability and shipping speed I use BBI bullets. Not preaching, not a promo. Just good bullets with good service.
  21. Autpcomp makes a real soft 9 minor load. Here is my data....I loaded 3.6 grains. Autocomp 9mm Minor 147 grain coated OAL 1.150 3.8 grains 3.9 grains 3.8 grains 3.8 grains 3.9 grains 3.8 Grains 3.8 grains 3.8 grains 926 937 900 869 895 862 825 846 917 938 882 891 909 875 831 846 924 922 903 878 899 854 819 851 906 928 885 897 910 857 844 852 928 913 901 893 910 849 839 848 avg 920.2 927.6 894.2 885.6 904.6 859.4 831.6 848.6 PF 135.3 136.4 131.4 130 133 126.3 122.2 124.7 Gun G34 G34 Stock 2 P320 Stock 2 P320C P320SC G26
  22. I've always been a 147 grain fan although I have also shot alot of 125's & 135's. I always go back to the 147.
  23. Red dot has always been a favorite of mine so I have a good bit of it. 3.0 grains with a BBI 147 at 1.10 oal gets me 130 pf out if an P320 X5. I also use it for 40 minor also at 3.0 grains with a BBI 180.
  24. I'm interested in the manufaturer / part number of the threaded inserts. can you post a pic of them?
