mcmmotorsports
Hello, what is the largest capacity .45 1911 magazine currently available? I know I’ve seen 8rds, looking for a 10, 12 or larger. This is for an outlaw match at a local club.

Mike21STI
I've personally had good luck with the wilson combat 10 rounders if you wanted to try those out too.

Joe4d
I run wilson combat and Chip Mccormick 10 rounders in my pin gun. Most places that sell mags have them . Brownell's, Midway.

Be cautious.

Guy Neill
Once upon a time there were single stack 30 round magazines available. Almost could be used as a monopod. I'd hate to think of working against that spring when loading it.
shred
The NRA museum in VA (if it's still open) has some super-extended 1911 mags from the WW1 pre Red-Baron days when pilots shot at each other with pistols from their cloth-and-wire biplanes. I'd guess they go 30+. Someplace I have a picture of them.
mlmiller1
Somewhere I have some 15rd mags but they were not reliable. I think I could have tinkered with them & possibly fixed them but just have never had the time
Modoc
The drums look cool, but I had a chance to shoot using an original Colt drum. The balance was totally off and it really messed with follow up shots. I would just stick with the Chip McCormic 10’s.
