ChuckS
Standard division. You should go check the rules at ipsc.org. But, in the mean time, PF of 170 min, mags limit is 140 mm, not 141.24. And the gun has to fit in the box. Check the magwell width especially! Gear has to worn behind the hip bone like in USPSA production. Good luck! perttime
Yup. Standard. Check out the rules at https://www.ipsc.org/rules/ or directly: https://www.ipsc.org/pdf/RulesHandgun.pdf Standard requirements are in Appendix D4, page 54. Box dimensions: "must fit wholly within the confines of a box which has internal dimensions of 225 mm x 150 mm x 45 mm (tolerance of +1 mm, -0 mm). Note that all magazines must comply. MikeBurgess
Mags are limited by fitting in the box when in the gun likely you will be well below 140mm http://ipscalberta.com/about/divisions.html Edited June 28, 2019 by MikeBurgess

Loudgp
THANKS.. I'll probably have to swap base plates.. and hopefully not the mag well(dawson ice)
perttime
Dawson says the Ice is good for IPSC. Just get out your calipers or ruler and see if it is 45mm or less wide. Not sure about magazines.... I think an STI 126mm will fit, with the right pad. Having a box would be ideal to confirm. bret
Mags are not 140s, they are 126 and have to fit in the box. A 140 will not fit in the box in a gun in Standard.
dansedgli
An ice magwell wont fit either. Gotta use a standard STI magwell off an edge, tactical or early dvc.
WFargo
Indeed, the Dawson Ice does not fit. I had to swap to the standard STI magwell as well. And baseplates are also an issue.....
shred
Make sure you are using an IPSC box, not a USPSA box too. They are slightly different for long-lost reasons. The USPSA box is slightly (around 0.1") wider and longer, but around 0.1" less deep. If all you have is a USPSA box and need to check for IPSC compliance, stick a 1/8" spacer between the gun and the box on two sides (one spacer for gun height and one for gun length) and ignore very small stickouts on the depth (3/32" or less). Kiwishoot
And make sure you test ALL of your mags. Gun check can mean any of your magazines can be selected to make sure it fits in the box, not just the one you want to provide.

bret
If you don't want to buy new mags and a magwell, and move your mag holders and holster, use your limited rig and shoot in open division.
Loudgp
THANKS GUYS... Just going to shoot open... not worth spending the money on it to make requirements.
