Langenator
The Seekins LM BCG goes for roughly $225 or so, the JP around $350 with JP Enhanced Bolt. Buy once, cry once? Is the JP 60% better than the Seekins?
MarkCO
You do not need the enhanced bolt. Any milspec bolt will do. I run a Titanium firing pin and the Colt extractor spring (gold spring black insert). Yes, the JP low mass with QPQ coating is the best low mass carrier on the market. MarkCO
I have used several. I have a Texas Arms Unlimited in one and a Blackheart in another.
Vespid_Wasp
My QPQ JP still looks new after a 3 or 4 seasons......
Vlad
And right now you can get one for $165 http://www.dvor.com/jp-enterprises-stainless-lmos-carrier-with-qpq.html
arnettcw1
I only have experience with the JP. Both my dad and I have have AR's with one and they are exceptional. The machining is excellent. Maybe unnecessary, but top quality for sure.

Nebwake
Jp carrier and bolt are a great combo though. They are SUPER easy to clean and take a ton of rounds before you get any carbon the stick in the spots it likes to stick. The enhansed bolt has the nice one piece gas ring also. I literally cannot get my jp rig to malfunction even filthy. The carrier made that gun the flattest shooting, most reliable rifle i have ever ran. Langenator
I can't find it either. I bought mine from Midway. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/262584/seekins-precision-low-mass-bolt-carrier-assembly-ar-15-223-remington-melonite Edited November 20, 2015 by Langenator
v1911
Just picked up the black JP LMOS from shooters connection. Question: is a Ti firing pin a must with a LMOS or is it more for insurance against a slam fire?
TonytheTiger
It was a must in my system, probably not necessary for everyone. I immediately had slam fires when I added the Taccom buffer to my LMOS system, the TI pin cured it.

v1911
That's 2 people that commented that they use the Blackheart. I'm surprised that the JP one isn't mentioned. Other than the treatment on the Blackheart, are there any differences between the different Ti pins? Edited November 27, 2015 by v1911
TonytheTiger
I haven't a clue. When I bought mine I was in a hurry to get my slam fires fixed before a match. I hopped on Enos, searched TI firing pins and the first two posts I read had MarkCO and Kurt Miller recommending the Blackheart pins, I said to hell with doing my own research, that's good enough for me. mike_pinto
I heard that Kurt Miller guy still loads weak hand, he obviously doesn't know anything!!! Iron City is giving a Ti firing pin away with their carriers this weekend. Looks like a pretty good deal. Their carriers look pretty awesome. Hopefully I will have one soon for my own. Leozinho
Anyone tried this one? http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=XAIMBCGN3LW $99 sale price for a low mass bolt carrier group. I assume it was manufactured for the 'shaving ounces off my AR" club and not the "let's see if I can get my AR to shoot softer' club (I'm in the latter) but that shouldn't matter, right?
