freakshow10mm
I use both depending on the situation. Most of my 9mm Major is loaded into known once fired brass from an indoor police range. A few shooters that I sponsor ammo for have brass sponsors, so they ship me new 9mm brass and I load 9mm Major in it for my shooters.
Baer45
I'm not shooting Your caliber but I have case I have reloaded more then 50 times in 45acp at 875fps with 200 grain bullets..usually the case neck splits first or it gets lost at range before it looses it's use....wwe load commercially and as long as it has not been over belled, it will pass all the pressure test we run our cases through.... warpspeed
I think the biggest issue in 9major guns is the extractor. New brass has nice rims so for a match where you want 100% function I'd suggest new brass. Everything else is whatever is in the bucket.
caspian guy
I start with once fired single headstamp then casepro it. Most of mine gets shot 1 time then left, but I have loaded batches 5 to 6 times without issue.
gunracer38
I agree with Caspian Guy. I Case Pro all my used 9mm Brass. All work great . I tried to use 9mm brass without the Case Pro. I then had some jams Even when I checked the brass it still had some jams. But the Case Pro makes them go away.
AWLAZS
I reload my practice brass over and over. I don't spend much time with the prep work. At the end of the season I recycle and start over with fresh once fired brass.
kneelingatlas
I've never used a casepro, but I check each round in the barrel of the pistol I plan to shoot it through. This has worked very well for me using whatever brass I find on the ground.
Jaxshooter
I use once fired brass for major matches. For local matches and practice I use the brass until it cracks or has loose primer pockets.
Sarge
I'm sure someone, just not me; if it's not spit, I fill er up Same here. I know I am up to 10 reloads on some of my 9MAJOR brass. When it splits it quits.
Tino2212
I start with once fired brass one head stamp ( geco) and reload them about 5 to 6 times. Then leave them on the range or put them in the recycle bin at my club .
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I have never bought new 9mm brass. It is all over the place so pick it up and "shoot it to you lose it !" Thanks, Eric
Heckler
I shoot it until it cracks. Maybe 8-10 reloads? I do pick up brass while practicing. I do not pick up brass at matches. For practice and local matches I don't chamber check for large matches I do. I have NEVER purchased new brass or even once fired. All my brass is range pick up or what someone has given me. I visually and audibly check brass as I pick it up at the range and as I clean it at home. You can usually hear a cracked case while handling it. kneelingatlas
I'm a member of a local range where there are few reloaders, so when I show up to a session I sweep the brass into a pile, scoop up a box full, shoot and leave; so I'm basically loading once fired brass every time
Tino2212
I don`t buy my once fired brass either i just like you pick it up at the range or get it from guys that don`t reload 9mm and only shoot factory ammo . mildot1
The last I bought was about $160.00 for 5500 = .029 per pc / 4 X 1000 =$7.27 per 1000. I don't get the "once fired" brass aspect? If I'm going to a major match and I want my ammo to run why would I not use brass that has already been thru the gun? Once fired range pickup is just a "crap" shoot unless you own a case pro. My 2cents Mildot

My 2cents Mildot My interpretation of Once Fired is Once Fired in How Many Guns? Range pickups are not a problem, after reloading, use your barrel as a chamber gauge, or, as you said, run them through a CasePro100. They are people/companies that will clean, roll sized for yo too.
