jstagn
Have an 1995 Para and had the slide cut years ago for adjustable (rear) Bomar sights, front and rear. Front sight is the tall Bomar blade. Looking to replace front sight only with a Tall Green Fiber Optic that will fit in the Bomar cut. Suggestions??? Thanks....... buckaroo45
Dawson or Dawson then there's Dawson ..... FWIW Dawson FO was the most used front sight at the Single Stack Nat'ls. Hard to go wrong.

bigfish
Dawson is the only thing I will use for a FO sight
troupe
Dawson, that is the reason they come on some factory guns and are copied buy some of the other factories. Dawson will have what you want.

Roons
I like the Brazos Lightning Rod MicroDot and how the "sight" hole at the front keeps the fiber dot consistent. Second for me is the Dawson, very bright and can make it as large as you want. I just like the smaller consistent dot of the Microdot.

jcc7x7
Dawson first. Then EGW with the frt. drilled through. EGW sights are not drilled all the way through. I find it easier to replace the FO rod and I believe the rod is brighter with the frt open
Adam Sills
Another "me too" for Dawson.
chirpy
I have a HiViz green on one of my ss's and it is so much brighter and faster for my old eyes to pick up than anything else I have. FWIW Richard

But I also drill the EGW through. The Dawsons are convenient in that they offer them in multiple widths and heights.
