  1. http://idpamembersuggestions.azurewebsites.net/ 3.9 definitely takes the cake. This website will likely stop working once the comment period ends.
  2. If that's true (the trigger is a factory part) you're IDPA SSP legal also. But the magwell is ESP only.
  3. On the other side of that coin, every new shooter we try to explain this to cannot understand its reasoning. I can't explain it or why, so I just have to tell them "it's the way it is". They want to play so they do it, but to them it's an ugly sore on the face of IDPA.
  4. Call IDPA's phone number. You'll never get an email response from them, but they're always answering the phone during business hours.
  5. I've never had a primer flip upside down in my Hornady LNL AP. I'm not a prolific reloader, but I have loaded about 8k rounds on it now.
  6. I bought one because uncoated lead bullets were all I could to reload for quite some time. It's been deeply unreliable due to the tightness of the chamber and now that coated lead bullets are available again, I've gone back to shooting the stock Glock barrel. Spending another $30 to make it "usable" -- especially when so many others are experiencing the same issues -- feels like a ripoff. And yes, I wish I'd bought KKM. Which makes me happy that they didn't charge me (or the other person who reported sending their barrel back on this thread). I spent $5 to ship it to them and they just fixed it. Though I did do like was suggested, write a detailed letter with just a little disgust That said, I have no problems with their chambers being tight. I'd much rather they be that than so sloppy they fit well out of spec rounds. At least with a tight chamber you have somewhere to go.
  7. I didn't say I was using them, it was while adjusting my seating die. Forgot to write down what number on my micrometer I had previously used. And since they were ridiculously long, I was curious to find out if they'd fit. And for reference, I'm using my LW barrel because it's threaded for a comp and I'm shooting open major loads (so not just for a conversion).
  8. Seems like a call to LW might be in order for you. When I was adjusting my seating die, I loaded one out to 1.167 and luckily it wouldn't fit in the chamber (it wouldn't spin once in). Backed it down to 1.165 and same thing. But now my target OAL (1.155) is working perfectly in my newly opened up chamber.
  9. These JHP's had to be seated at 1.05-ish before they'd actually enter the chamber. This was .07 shorter than my factory JHP's when I measured them (1.12). Also, the JHP's at 1.155 OAL fit the factory chamber perfectly. Regardless, LW's customer service have nicely fixed it (at no charge) and has shipped it back to me.
  10. Got word today that LW fit the chamber to my ammo and they'll be sending me a shipping notice soon.
  11. very good speed, I get around 900 fps with 3,5gr from my Stock 2 9mm... I've been very happy with that load in my gun. Note my bullets are also coated (Black Bullets) so that could explain (assuming what I've heard about coated being faster than plated/FMJ is accurate).
  12. +1 for N320. 3.3gr of 320 under a 147 makes ~915 fps out of my 9mm 1911.
  13. In my case, this is a threaded barrel I'm putting a comp on and loading 9 major. I don't want to run a shorter OAL with 7 grains autocomp in it.
  14. One thing to note on this (that annoys me a bit) is that they will load into my stock barrel at that length just fine.
  15. ...and reading the Lone Wolf website, they have a FAQ about this. https://www.lonewolfdist.com/Content.aspx?PAGE=FAQ%20page#Reloading%20Issues: Blah blah, your brass isn't resized properly. Except my brass does fit my EGW case gauge perfectly, so I think it's going back to Lone Wolf assuming no great ideas on the JHP's here
