twister
Here's a new pic of my TS checkmate look alike. I really like the look of the pistol now. All I have left to do is get the slide lightened, and shoot it a lot this summer. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x11/Sibob78/IMG_20130127_121402_zps5da3ac06.jpg Edited January 27, 2013 by twister

hoghunter
.here's mine in .40. stock except SS guide rod and a different RS. i'm still waiting for a set of alu grips for it. all about a tack driver. didn't used it yet in matches but time will come. Call me crazy, but I think stock is darn good looking!

G34 CORDY
The bushing looks awesome how do you like it vs the stock barrel accuracy wise?
billdozer
Yes, what Corey said....and total cost?
Neomet
I like it. I didn't do any accuracy testing right before but the gun is now easily capable of one hole groups at 15 yards which was the only distance I tested at. I should mention I have over 60K rounds through the barrel. Subjectively I only shot one match with it before I went in for PRK but it did seem easier on far steel. Not sure if I will be able to see well enough to shoot this weekend but when I do I can give an updated report. The TS is dang accurate to begin with so it isn't going to be a night and day difference. Cost was around $250 which includes quite a bit of work including threading and refinishing the slide. G34 CORDY
What kind of guide rod is that?
Neomet
What you see there is actually a guide rod bushing. Part of the conversion. Edited January 28, 2013 by Neomet

G34 CORDY
I need some ideas for my TS. Should I hard chrome it with black controls or keep it black with chrome/silver controls hammer, slide stop, mag release button, safety ect?
Chris_C
My Tactical Sport (CTS). My wedding ring quickly rubbed the black finish off the frame so I had it Robar NP3+ coated. There is a little pitting in the frame that was concealed by the original finish, but it's not too bad.

I have put grip tape around the front strap all the way back to the grip panels to stop/minimize my wedding ring beating up the grip.
