ChrisMcCracken
Can anyone recommend a good online source for .40 brass? Are there any places you won't buy from? What's a good rate for .40 brass now?
jdphotoguy
Check out GunBroker, plenty of folk selling brass there and if you keep an eye out some decent deals. Recently picked up 4,000 pieces of 40 all Winchester head stamped for $178 shipped Edited March 12, 2012 by jdphotoguy

freakshow10mm
Fired brass. I've never seen a reason to buy new .40 brass when fired brass is so plentiful and cheap.
ChrisMcCracken
Yeah, I'd love to get all a single headstamp new, but I can't justify it for the cost. I'll take mixed headstamp once-fired. Thanks for suggestions. Any others?
michael b.
I've ordered from brassmanbrass.com and had great results. Once fired, mixed and single headstamp available. Edit to include better link... http://store.brassmanbrass.com/servlet/StoreFront Edited March 15, 2012 by michael b.
nathandewalt
Local indoor range. The one near where I live sells it for 3 cents a round. Mostly once fired.

Aircooled6racer
Hello: Go to the local range and start picking it up You could also ask at the local police range what they do with there used brass also. After you get the brass then you can sort by headstamp. Thanks, Eric

Dr Mitch
I got a good deal on brass from J&K Casters, http://jkbullets.com/. Not sure about shipping since I'm local to the business, but I got 6K for $28/k if I remember right. Oh, and it's not listed as a product on their site, so you'll have to call. UW Mitch
I usually buy my brass from Jan Hase (L10Shooter). Always been pretty happy with buying from a local guy. ~Mitch
latech15
What I buy, i get for $20/k locally. I don't pick up my 9mm and it seems like my stash is always growing. I think I have some over active mommy and daddy brass in the buckets.
