Steve Anderson
Synergy. I hate that one so much I use "synergism" in response and act like it means the same thing. Hell, maybe it does. If all the jerkoffs in the world can say synergy, why can't I crank out some synergism? Sync up. Scew syncing up. It's meeting, and they suck too. Reach out. Already mentioned, but equally hated. Action step. This is a new one trotted out by someone who read himself an fancy book on how to be an a$$hole at work. Systemic. A problem in the system? A plant with a female sibling? Who knows, who cares. A problem is a problem.
ima45dv8
"I want a calibration on that popper I shot that didn't fall." or, "We need a calibration on stage 4." What they should be asking for is "a challenge to the calibration of that popper". If the challenge fails, there will be a calibration, but the challenge comes first. (you did ask for 'picky')
Singlestack
When did problems become "issues"? Magazines have issues.

gino_aki
I don't like being called "Hon" or "Bud" by store employees. I don't mind being called "Hon" if she's pretty. Hmmm, don't know if this qualifies as a catch phrase but I sure hate hearing "Alpha.....umm Mike." Or if I'm running the timer..."That's a double!" And here in the islands when you call someone out for being rude or not bending the rules for them..."Brah, where's the ALOHA?!" How about printed on the back of your ticket outa here? The worst though, even though it is used mostly as a term of respect, is when younger folks in Hawai'i start calling you "Uncle" or "Aunty," and it bugs you 'cause it means you've finally started looking your age

I was in shock! One that bugs me is "Who let the dogs out!??" followed by that ridiculous dog barking. I have a co-worker that does that consistently. Not to mention it's super loud and you can hear him from all the way back in the warehouse....SMH!!!!
