belus Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 (edited) I think everyone besides me has a Semi. Started with a 22" Browning BPS Upland model that I picked up for $260. New stock and mag tube for 8+1: Opened up the loading port a little, polished the slide and action bars, and made the hammer/sear engagement not quite so positive. My goal was to build the easiest to reload shotgun for He-Man. May take 1/2" to 3/4" off the length of pull yet, but I need some more experience first. nheiny13 Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 Here's my FN SLP MK1. Yes look again, it's a 22" SLP with a vent rib. It is the stock barrel. I sent it to Poly Choke who cut off the front sight and cantilever and installed a vent rib. It dropped a bit of weight and the sight picture is so much better. I also had the lifter welded up and slotted, added Nordic extended bolt release and bolt handle with a Briley extended IC choke. Also sent the piston out to SRM to have it sealed and installed their Surecycle system. This thing rocks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
