Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Got it out today. Ran 100% for about 100 rounds. Extremely accurate and flat gun. The group in the pic below is at 15 yards. Very happy all around. Nice work MPA.
  2. I got it last Friday. First impressions are very positive. First rate fit and finish on everything. Should have it to the range and first match this week. This is probably my 8th or 9th 2011, everything from old school STI Edge/Eagles, custom Triangles, the newer Staccatos and also have a Prodigy in the safe. This is among the highest build quality. The S2 is certainly the most aggressive grip I've ever felt, but I really like it. Hasn't drawn blood dry firing or anything like that yet. Looking closely at it, I do think you could lightly deburr it to make it slightly more comfortable. I still don't think a 9mm 2011 needs a steel grip or even an aluminum grip to keep up, but my mind is open on that... most of my USPSA experience is with a modified STI Edge in Limited Major/40 cal.
  3. Wonder if it's just some rough machining and a pass with something abrasive would help. Where'd it cut you up at? Got a 2 gun match coming up later this month, hopefully I can give the DS9 a workout before then. Will report back...
  4. Mine went out today, week 29. Hopefully makes it for Christmas!
  5. What's the verdict? Still nothing here. Week 28.
  6. Different nut, but super easy to swap provided you have the big crowfoot wrench and nut tool. I went with a Centurion rail.
  7. Sample size of one...but I've had 0 issues with my +10 TTI extensions on the latest gen glock big sticks in either my blowback PCC or JP5. I like how simple they are. I generally load them to 35 rounds.
  8. Came to the same conclusion just recently. Got a 507comp in for the LO gun and it seems like it has 1 extra "click" of brightness vs the 510c's that I have on PCC/rifles. Going to try one out on a scalarworks mount for the PCC pretty soon. I prefer single dots only, no need for the donuts and other goofiness. Love the 510c...just in the absolute brightest sunlight find it a little lacking.
  9. My bladetech 2011 holster works great with the 5" Prodigy.
  10. That makes sense. I bet the factory 80 lock would be just fine though.
  11. My Geissele SD-3G runs like a top in my JP-5. I use a yellow JP hammer spring with it as well.
  12. Entering week 22 here. Just got an update that they are waiting on steel grips to come back from the coater. Hopefully not too much longer.
