While it looks the same on paper it will be executed differently on the ground. There was a feeling that it was a good idea that needed to be tweaked and honed.

Don't sweat it.... it won't be the same dance.

A big thanks to every one who came out on Saturday and Sunday to help get the stages on the ground. They look great and it’s going to be a great match because of you!

I'll say it again, this match gets done because of the great group of volunteers we have!

It pays to show up to registration on Friday. Shorter lines, and I'll be there with COOKIES! B)

Stages are on the ground and look fun and challenging !

The range has gotten a fair bit of rain, and is muddy in places. But we hope to dry out starting Thursday PM.

Don't forget your sunscreen and bug spray.

See you on the range,

Jeff

*note: merged threads*

I stopped by this afternoon and was wondering who shot today or yesterday? I was unable to shoot as I still need a couple more mag pouches.

How did everyone shoot? stage 1 looked like a pain, I watched several people mot even shoot at several targets.

stage one was much easier than the similar stage usually is, step forward 9 targets visable with a slight body shift, run all the way left hit 10 and 11, all the way right 12,13 look back to your left get 14,15, bend to the left double tap 16 right behind barrier, I think it was the only stage I did good on.

Was my first attempt at open and a CR Speed holster,

2 dropped mags when I still had enough ammmo in em to finish the stage, one draw with the dot out, one atomic wedgy drawing from a locked holster, one over ran target, but hey the gun worked fine!

Great match! Sure, I would have liked a few less Mikes, and better execution in my part on some stages, but it sure was fun. Kudos go out to all the volunteers who made it happen. It was a well-run and executed match.

Thanks to all involved!
