Fldc for competition makes it a little softer shooting. If i had to pick between softer shooting and a smidge better out of box triger, id take the softer shooting gun. Triggers can always get a trigger job. That said i use fpb guns and having a fpb isnt keeping me from making gm.

Check trigger return spring if trigger doesnt return well, or if the trigger bar sprin is weak or one leg has ridden off the track on the underside of the trigger bar.

really wierd. did you get a pic? where was the interference? i've shot area 8 and seen all kinds of CZs pass the box. not sure if they make a new box every year.

The alloy frames are thicker and will not work. My 75b 75c did not fit well in my sp01 holsters since the void in the holster for the rail made it loose for the others. For the price of a range visit or a couple boxes of ammo, just plan to buy the right holster. anything else will just be rigged.

Are you using a closed base bullet? Is that dirty? Took me almost two years of no cleaning and weekly plus matches to get "dirty"...

to polish i used jewelers rouge amd a soft bit on low rpm amd light pressure amd worked carefully and slowly. to break the edge i have some needle files i put 200/400 wetdry sandpaper around.

i have my sp01 that has been going 8 years, still quite accurate.

to get the dimple... hold the magazine rounds down, by the top, and tap the baseplate lightly like a hammer. the inertia of the tap moves the plate foward and engages the nub.

I use a mag brush - they can be very affordable. Then a spritz of aerosol oil and i wipe dry and shove a paper towel through the middle. As said, excess oil attracts dust so wipe dry.

what kind of sights do you normally prefer? all kinds of sights are available.

remove the grips and try again. thatll tell you if it is a problem with the grips. if not the grips, then you will see the mag brale rubbing on them.

i once went a year and a half without cleaning shooting at least 2 matches a week. lubed it only a few times. what got me to finally clean it was the extractor broke around 23k rounds. i shot titegroup amd zero jhp, which was a very clean combination the closed back bullet makes a big diff in terms of fouling compared to say, a moly or hardcast bullet. totally worth the exrra few bucks for a plated or jacketed bullet.

i did an informal survey every time someone broke a TRS. it seems i could not find a consistent answer out of maybe 15 occurrences any trend. i asked if people kept it wet or dry, if the re-bent one of the legs to lighten the spring pressure, if they were using CZC or CZUB TRS, and if they were using an aftermarket trigger pin. perhaps my sample is too small. i like to put a drop of lube on it regardless. i have a CZC improved return spring (don't know if it counts as factory) using the improved CZC pin. i broke one i think around the low 20 thousands, but only once. maybe others could share their experiences.

Add: I also used CZC's lighter firing pin spring with the extended pin, but mostly because I also ran a lighter 15 lb hammer spring. Most gamers who like their triggers light usually go with an 11-13 lb hammer spring and might even cut a coil or two off.

When I shot regularly, I replaced the slide stop, firing pin and spring, extractor and extractor spring, trigger pin and trigger return spring annually. The recoil spring and hammer spring are more subjective, I change those as needed. If you have 15k rounds on your recoil spring, you'll notice a significant change in how the gun feels as it's probably very weak by now. I like to use CZC's improved trigger pin and extended firing pin. Hope this helps.

not replacing a recoil spring is one reason why you might be going through slide stops. As the recoil spring wears out the slide will be banging harder and harder against the slide stop. Usually when it comes to recoil springs I change that every five to ten thousand rounds. When it comes to the hammer spring, I usually change that probably every 10,000 rounds. Usually when that hammer spring gets soft I will notice my firing pin hitting the primers softer and the dent it leaves in the primers are smaller and shallower. whenever I change the springs, especially the recoil spring, I like to do that after a major match. The reason being is that changing a recoil spring can also change how the gun handles, so I never do that unless I have a chance to put another thousand or so rounds through it so I get accustomed to how the gun handles again. these are just rough figures, not law. You will have to order a bunch of springs and just give them a try and see what works for you. dont forget about your firing pin, firing pin spring, trigger return spring, ejector amd ejector spring too.
