The VAMD Section Match will be May 20-22 and have 9-10 stages chrono 240 rounds match with a random prize table. No refunds after May 1st. The match fee is $135 includes 1 match shirt and lunch from Southern Bobby-Q (the same crew that did Area 8 and the MD State match. If you were there you know why I point this out!) Please do not sign up for a reserved squad without contacting me first. More info about sponsors and stages will be posted as they are finalized.

I am the guy that was running chrono on Friday at the Area 8 match. This was the only gun that failed to fit in the box. I do believe that if the gun had adjustable sights on it I would have been able to compress them and get it into the box. This was done for a couple of CZs and 1911s. We only used 1 box for the match it was the official metal box bought from USPSA.

Thank you for all the kind words about the match. It would not have been possible with out all the hard work of the match staff. Rob and Tess put a lot of hard work correcting an issue we had with the nook on stage 2 on Saturday afternoon squad. That's why the interim scores on Saturday was missing stage 2 for everyone.

The round count will be 8 rounds per stage no reloads 2 stages are planned. The side match should be running as soon as The Buddy Pittman is done shooting.

I am pleased to announce that we will be holding a shotgun side match thanks to GT Targets. The side match will be $5 a run and ammo will be provided. There will be loaner guns also available if to those that want to use them. Trust me when you see the stage you will want to shoot it... All money goes to benefit Ava Viverette. Ava is a section clubs MD daughter that has a pulmonary disease that requires her to use a special "pulmonary vest". The cost of this vest is $16,000 and is not covered by Tricare and insurance. We will also be selling raffle tickets for a Ruger 10/22 take down rifle $5/ticket 3/$10 and 7/$20. There has been a couple of cancellations for Saturday time slots and the wait list is clear. The registration is back open again for these slots

I have submitted them and will post them as soon as they are approved. On another note I will be opening up some cancelled slots as soon add I hear from a couple of people on the wait list.

The 2014 FNH VA/MD Section Championship will be held May 16th-18th at the Frdericksburg Rod and Gun club. We are greatfull to have FNH USA http://www.fnhusa.com as the title sponsor again this year. The registration is online this year thank you matchsignup.org for this service. The match fee is $125 for adults and $100 for Juniors and does include a match T-shirt. No refunds after May 1st 2014. This year again will be shot in 1/2 day format you can shoot Saturday AM Saturday PM or Sunday AM with 8 people max per squad. The round count will be ~220 with atleast 9 stages + chrono.

I went through chemo back in 2008 and went through exactly the same things your describing. I only shot some flat footed steel matches and simple idpa matches when I was on chemo. I had all of the issues you mentioned for almost a year I couldnt feel my right leg. The chemo brain is strange the best way I could describe it is its like walking up to a door and not being able to walk through it even though its open. I just went and treated it like a social event not a competition. I was being told by the doctors that the issues I was having would pass but it was still very hard to see my skills dropping off. There was nothing I could do but just wait it out.

All of the stages and the match book are now posted on the section website. VA/MD Section There are still openings on Saturday AM and PM and Sunday AM squads. The late fee has been waived for anyone still wanting to shoot.

Yeah I will put them in a downloadable PDF on the section website in the next day or two. Keep in mind there will be some changes. The club has already pointed out some things they would like changed for safety reasons.

I do not know why they are gone for you guys. I deleted my cookies and history and logged out of BE and can still see them. They are now all posted on the VA/MD Section website. VA/MD Section
