I've only shot the match once, but I wouldn't go without five on the belt, plus a start mag, and on many stages I had a sixth in my back pocket as well. As far as the number of mags to have, I used to have 4 on my belt all the time, and start with one in the gun.....over the last 8 years, I have only a few times needed more than that. I am looking forward to this match. Phoenix was troublesome when I was there several years ago. Vehicle was broken into and dashboard was destroyed.
