  2. Ohio peeps. In store purchase only!! https://www.vanceoutdoors.com/products2.cfm/ID/74654
  3. It's been years since my last AA, er I mean, SSEC meeting and post. It's good to see some things never change.
  4. If it's one person hauling one piece at a time and he's nearly 60, 13 hours is conservative for a USPSA match.
  5. It's the same story everywhere. 3-4 people do it all... if that.
  6. Will squading be online on uspsa.org or should requests be on the application?
  7. Slightly off topic, but rather than starting a new thread... Can a USPSA club multi-gun match have a pistol classifier submitted for record like at a regular USPSA club handgun match?
  8. Sure, but the Single Stack Nationals match link and link to the scores were there before the match started. So, where is the link to the Revolver Nationals?
  9. I don't see a link to the Revolver Nationals results on USPSA.org. Why? What am I missing?
  10. I have one of the new design from MGM with the corners of the paddles cut off to different angles. It makes the plates one directional, and they are very unstable in their receptical. That makes the spring tension even more important, but they still have the same weak springs that wear out in no time. Soon you'll be having plates fall without being hit.
  11. I'll second that. We've needed a Single Stack Championship in Texas / Area 4 for a long time. This was and will be a great venue.
  12. Yes, but not for score! or during the match I hope. Why such a hater? Because it's the right thing to do and anything else would be, well, against the rules. 13. No, a P90 is not a 1911. Only 1911s are legal in the 1911 "Single Stack" Division.
  14. Also slow for me. Other sites are super fast, so it's not a local problem.
  15. What type of thumb rest are you talking about? The thumb safety should be your thumb rest. Are you talking about an old school thumb rest built up on the grip, or an IPSC g a s p e d a l for your weak hand thumb? Will the lid on the IDPA box close with this thumb rest of yours on the pistol? The aforementioned g a s p e d a l would not be legal as it is not an approved modification which is a finite list.
  16. Do you have to manually lower the hammer on both of these after LAMR?
  17. https://maps.google....420485,2.238464 Open the link. Click on the balloons for matches, dates, and links to the club and range websites. You'll find USPSA at the Red Zone Ranch near McKinney, Johnson County Sport Shooting Assoc. near Alvarado, TDSA range near Seagoville, CCC Ranch near Cresson, and in the evening sometimes at Elm Fork in Dallas. Some of these matches are new, so check the calendars on the webpages and email the contacts. Zoom in to see the exact location of each range.
  18. Great match, Goose. Thanks. We had fun and appreciate a smoothly run match where both the shooters' and the staff's needs are well taken care of.
  19. I would go on the Malaysian faces, the IPSC emblem on his shirt, and the fact that he started with an empty chamber - a legal necessity at matches in that part of the world.
