chuckbradley
I am a little surprised. I knew he was battling cancer. He called me a few weeks ago and placed an order. We discussed how is was getting better and planning on ramping up his gun building business again. We even discussed the possibility of him building me an Open gun. I am saddened. He was good man. He will be missed.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I talked to him once and he was a fun guy to talk to. He seemed to have a zest for what he was doing and took pleasure in passing on his knowledge. Our prayers to his family and may he get some new machines to play with Thanks, Eric
smokshwn
RIP This is too bad. I only new Venry through the forums but it was obvious he had some very unique talents and ideas on how to solve common gunsmithing problems.

JD45
He shot with us at the 2008 Steel Nationals, I believe. He was a very nice guy. Very sorry to hear the sad news.
PaulW
Yes very said news. I remember reading some of Venry's posts, scratching my head, and re-reading the same post to try and figure out what he was saying. He definately had his understanding of 1911's and was not afraid to think outside the box. AT matches he was always super nice to speak to and was always a warm friendly guy. Way to young to loose such a fine man. RIP.
