Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I used to live in Plano which is just a little south and there are two places that come to mind. Bullet Trap http://bullettrapinc.com/ TargetMasters http://www.targetmasters.com/
  2. They have what they call STIppling. It looks nice, but isn't nearly as grippy has your traditional 20 or 30 lpi checkering
  3. http://www.blindhogg.com/gunsmith/magwell.html I'm guessing his looks like Fig 2.
  4. From what I understand, it is the compression and decompression cycle that will reduce the tension of the spring.
  5. That Colt has gone a long way! That Black-T finish looks fantastic.
  6. I like how he has the pop up when you try to click to close the window.
  7. Well, after speaking with a WC representative on another forum, he stated that it is indeed an early model 47T. He also told me that I should be able to send it back to get the problem taken care of. This makes me feel a lot better.
  8. Yes, it does hold 10 rounds of .45. I just wanted to confirm that it is in fact a Wilson magazine so when I send it back, they won't think I am crazy for trying to swap a non Wilson magazine for a Wilson magazine. I appreciate the quick response.
  9. I recently purchased a Wilson 47T magazine off a member here. When I first looked at it, everything looked fine. However, it doesn't fall free from my Baer like my other 47Ts do. Upon closer inspection I noticed a few differences: 1.) The follower is concave and not convex. 2.) The magazine is physically shorter. 3.) The back of the magazine doesn't have the visible weld mark. 4.) The over insertion block is smaller. The suspect magazine is on the left in all the pictures, and the one that I purchased new is on the right. Did I actually purchase a 47T? Or did I not get what I paid for? Thanks in advance.
  10. I'd go for the upgrades. New sights and a trigger job will make the gun more fun to shoot.
  11. No kidding, I've seen some people asking 1350-1450 for used TRP Operators.
  12. I personally haven't tried them, but the new Wilson ETM magazines are supposed to lock in easier with 8 rounds.
  13. I usually try to lift early afternoon because that is when I feel strongest, but it usually ends up being in the evening due school obligations.
