Henning +6 pads work on my Limited Custom which uses the same mag well as the Gold Team.

Here is the GT upper on my Limited Custom.

Greetings all, I bought a Gold Team upper from a gunsmith a while ago and I have some questions. Are there two different lengths of upper? My GT upper fits fine on my stock 2 but is 1/2” short on my limited custom. Am I missing something? First picture is the GT upper on my Stock2

Both sides, two ribs. You’ll need to sand the ribs down to match the ribs inside.

On rewatching your video I would also suggest removing Case insert slide cam. Maybe something broke off under there. There’s a spring and post under there.

First thing I would do is to remove the snoeshoe’s replacement part. Try using the factory part and get back with us if it still isn’t working correctly.

I tried the JB weld trick to extend the internal ribs. Easy peasy. I loaded to 23 rounds which I’ve never been able to do. I’m going to try them out at a match tomorrow morning. Thanks for the idea!

I load my 9mm as follows: 4.0gn sport pistol using a 125g Sns round nose at 1.06” ( I shoot a Tanfoglio and need to load very short). This comes in at 137pf.

I have a Tanfoglio Stock2 that I load with sns 125g 9mm bullet and I have to have the length at 1.06” using 4.0g of sport pistol. This load works at 137pf that has been chronographed. I use this load in all of my other 9mm pistols and pcc. Don’t have to worry if this is the right round for the particular weapon.

Patriot defense did us a good service by color coding the springs that they sell. Get a kit and find out what your stock2 likes then get a couple of the springs that it likes and use them as they wear out. My stock2 likes the 8 pound spring with 137 pf 9mm 125g bullets.

I’ve got better than 14k on a stock2 using a SRO and an egw plate on top. Only issue I’ve had is a plate shearing a boss and screw. EGW replaced the plate right away. I’ve put a rmr on my open slide using the same EGW plate. Only 25 rounds through it

You might want to look at this. It worked for me.

Where are the cases bulging? Can you attach a picture?

Patriot defense has them for sale. Give them a call. They do have defiant limit pro in both small and large frame.

I’ve broken two of them in the last year. When I got my last replacement I asked if I could have an extra. Hey said sure as long as I pay them . It’s only 18 miles to their store so I quest I’ll do that.

I’ve been fighting with my grams and basepad for a while. 20, maybe 21 if I really fight to get it in. Since removing some material and polishing the bottom like the photo shows and clipping 1.5 coils I can get 23 in plus a Barney round. Question is, just how long will the spring last? Don’t know. Time will tell.

Primer seat depth, 14lb hammer spring and extended firing pin are the solutions. I shoot cci’s only and this is what I had to do To have it fire consistently.

I know that this is an old thread but it looks really like they put the wrong mag catch into your weapon. I’m glad that this worked out for you.

Here is my Stock2 with an EGW slide mount.

I’m not sure as to why the screw/boss sheared but what was odd to me was that they were on opposite sides. I am happy with the EGW mount. I don’t find that it is hard to find the dot. I guess the big thing is not sending it off to patriot defense for 3 weeks.

My experience: I have just over 9k on a EGW dovetail mount on a Tanfoglio Stock 2. I’ve had a couple of issues but I’m still running the SRO. First problem was a sheared SRO screw and a sheared boss on the mount. patriot Defense responded quickly to my email and pictures. EGW sent another plate. Neither sight adjustments have a click when adjusted. Don’t know if it’s just me or not. The sight as well as the pistol are tools. Tools break, wear out, fail at times. I’m still sold on the SRO. I do have 3 acog’s, 2 rmr’s and a sro, just sayin’. I’m not switching at this point in time.
