  1. I have a couple DAA belts and never really had any issues getting the equipment mounted...still as rigid as the day i bought them.
  2. I like liquid grip....only use it on days where my hands are extra sweaty.
  3. I shoot out of West Shore Sportmens Association....i know some people that shoot that match.
  4. Hey all. I was curious for the shooters out there without meathooks for hands, what mag release buttons you use. I have to adjust my right hand when i go to hit the mag release on a reload and isn't always that smooth. I have a PT EVO grip and am curious if a mag release button would alleviate the need to readjust my grip. One like the Shadow 2 looks like what i would need. Does anyone make one like that? I had an STI oversized mag release button (shown below) but it sticks out a bit too far...i like how it angles backwards just sticks out too far. Thanks in advance.
  5. True...you do that once...had a match with two classifiers in a row and on the second classifier put a mag back in my pouch that i dropped from the previous stage...used it for a reload and lo and behold it was a round short. Learned from my mistake and don't do that anymore.
  6. Yeah it has helped for sure...i need to make one of those swingers though.
  7. I use Ben Stoeger's dry fire and skills and drills books...they have sections for notes that I use...plus i created a dry fire/live-fire log on my computer that i update after my sessions with notes, par-times, etc.
  8. Agreed. No live ammo anywhere near your dry fire space.
  9. Thats cool...I like the swinger...i have a set up in my bedroom for practicing draws and sight pictures on static targets...had to set up something in my basement to practice some movement.
  10. I had the same problem with my PT EVO grip and ended up buying the thigh pad for it and it totally fixed the issues...i think their design didn't take into account the weight of steel grip guns and it bows the holster. The thigh pad gives it stability. It worked for me.
  11. Good topic...i tend to show up and do a few draws at the safe table...i think this season i will be sure to stretch prior to putting my gear on. I am no spring chicken and limbering and loosening up can help.
  12. Agreed...i have pivothead video shooting glasses. It interesting from that point of view but for learning 3rd person is the way to go so you can see movement, etc.
  13. I used to put too much pressure on myself for classifiers and it definitely affected my performance. I decided to just treat it like another stage and not worry and i started to shoot classifiers much better.

The blue ones are sweet...i may need to order some of those bad boys
  15. Wonder if they got triggered.
  16. Very odd that a shooter would stop the stage, let alone ask for a reshoot because they had to sneeze? At our club we follow rules and there would be no reshoot. excuse me RO i farted ....reshoot please
  17. Been a couple days since I got the thigh pad for the alpha x holster and have not had any issues at all...it's definitely a must have. Haven't had to do any filing and hopefully I won't have to.
  18. Ha...yeah a lot of the ranges I shoot at have a decent amount of space between bays and some uphill....makes it a lot easier pulling or pushing a cart than lugging it all over.
