    170mm mags

Round count to me doesn’t matter, I change the springs 1-2 weeks before a major
  2. since we are in a competitive sport, enjoy that disadvantage. Ill take my reliable 170s that hold 30, reloadable 29. 155s that hold 27 reloadable 26.
  3. The newest tubes are gen 1 redesigns around old blue. It is possible to use gen 1 tubes with gen 2 and gen 2.5 #9 followers, there is a trick to it.
  4. are they mbx spring and followers if so they don’t need to be filed. If they aren’t mbx they aren’t made for the mags. Mbx magazines use proprietary parts. Same for the “tuning kits” they are for sti mags not mbx mags.
  5. Heavier bullet weight feels sluggish in recoil. Splits don’t really matter but transitions do. The faster you feel shockwave or recoil impulse travel through your body the sensation of being able to rip to the next target can occur. It’s humanly impossible to outrun any bullet weight in a pcc but the sensation of recoil is what causes the delay.
  6. tell him to watch the mbx short stroke video on YouTube
  7. Tubes Gen 1 vs gen 2 change happened along time ago. Did you buy direct from mbx? Because the follower pictured looks like the old follower. The new follower should have round edges on the back corners and the #9 on the side. Also if you’re having issues it’s best to email @mbxextreme@gmail.com before gunsmifing
  8. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-custom-ar-9-enhanced-firing-pin-116003.html comes in the iron city bolt, it’s tapered instead of a shelved and that’s the key. I’ve shot over 50k rounds in pcc and never broken a firing pin.
  9. Buy the 2.6oz short stroke weight blitz offers or shim it forward with quarters or piece of Delrin to desired length.
  10. Drop your powder charge some, they will add 30-50fps if switching from a small pistol.
  11. If you do it I recommend loctite 603 retaining compound
  12. Whats that number then? If you have a problem best thing to do is email Adrian at mbxextreme@gmail.com
  13. See that’s what my second post was about “never your fault”.
  14. In the rifle tube, Try blitz 5150 jp rifle spring and 2 or 3 2.6 oz weights in front. also don’t know it it’s been said, but using a rifle tube with carbine internals will damage the bcg by allowing it to travel to far rearward and hitting the “carrier key” against the rear.
  15. Yes, I only did it for a small test sample with fmj and titegroup. Terrible combination for cause lead fouling. I exclusively shoot jhp now.
  16. Watch any of Adams videos and notice nothing is ever his fault it’s always blamed on someone or something else. Call him and question some of his comments it won’t take long for the narcissist to poke it head out. Third time I sent my gun in, he stated they fixed my barrel lockup. I questioned what they did. He told me that he personally shot it and if I couldnt get a group with it must be the shooter or ammo. 7 weeks later I get the gun back with the same issue and when I call his cell phone he states he never shot it but someone else did and told him it was fine. quality gunsmif
  17. Hopefully a redesigned comp that isn’t a stolen sv design, also a comp that doesn’t come loose and crack after a couple month use and better gunsmithing. My chaos has been back 3 times and every time has come back and had the same issue a couple weeks later(loose comp and comp strikes). Also my link pin falls out and barrel rotates in lockup. Atlas was zero help. Do yourself a favor don’t buy from atlas
  18. Before shooting a match Spray it with welding anti splatter
  19. Only advantage to 16” is being able to change compensators easily, disadvantage is weight 14.5 advantage is lighter weight, 14.5 disadvantage is comp is pinned and welded. Personally I went with a shooting innovations 14.5” barrel and apa comp. imo shooting innovations has one of the best barrels out because of the weight and ramp. It is also very accurate. Mbx is another good barrel with a 13.6” barrel and 2.6” comp. Another hot ticket is brekke comp and barrel 10.5 or 12.5 with a shroud to make the difference.
  20. Iron city rifle works or smoke composite. Smoke was giving 20% off if you shot competition.
