I haven’t seen or handled either, but I would say go with the Wilson Combat. You’ve always wanted it and I don’t think you’ll regret it. You might regret it if you go with the atlas and end up wishing that you had gone with the Wilson Combat. They are both great guns and there isn’t a wrong answer, I just think if it was me in that situation, I’d have a lower chance of regret going with what I’ve always wanted instead of what is new and shiny

I handled one today and it was a bit underwhelming. I’m really wanting to shoot CO next year and really like the cz pistols, but I feel like it should have a bigger “mag well “ the grip seemed small, trigger seemed too far back, and reset seemed long. Couldn’t bring myself to buy it

I think that years ago, someone shot soft lead bullets through a glock and didn't clean it and had issues with the barrel leading and had a kaboom. I think with the quality of the current lead bullets on the market and their coatings, there isn't really and issue with this. The glock gen 5s that I have do appear to have the traditional rifling in them however.

I prefer the 45 myself. Less mass on the slide reciprocating. Of course, you do also have less overall weight which some people don’t like

Cha lee, Boomstick, and Average joe, thanks for the response. Average Joe, are you just planning on using 170mm in leu of the 155mm magazines and using 140mm mags for mandatory reload stages?

I'm switching from limited to open for 2022 season and will need all new magazines. I've always used MBX in the past. Would you recommend these over MBX? I still may end up getting some MBX 155mm mags for most stages, but these would save me some $ over going all MBX.

Not trying to find an exception, was just discussing with a friend after a match when another shooter (was shooting a beretta) reholstered with gun decocked but didn’t engage the safety. My friend was ROing him at the time and didn’t do anything. They way I interpreted the rules was if the gun has a safety it has to be engaged whether or not it was decocked (USPSA rules)

If they holster a decocked pistol that does not have the safety on is that also a dq (providing the gun has a safety)?

I’m shooting 182 in 40 over WST and they are g2g. I have had a couple of 9mm bullets in my box, but I just set them aside for my 9mm guns

I have a question, Can you tape the dot for a stage or do you have to shoot the whole match with a taped dot? In my mind this would be similar to switching guns with a different sight set up for a different stage. Do you need to get the Range Master's approval when taping the dot much like you would switching guns?
