Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. If you could point me in the right direction that would be a big help. I was sold on the idea of an SRO until I heard about the drop tests and saw that it's not good enough for "duty use" according to Trijicon. I want my competition gun to also be my doomsday/nightstand gun so I'm looking for a red dot for either my Glock 34 or a new Shadow Systems. There are so many options that I don't know where to start my research. RMR was my first choice but they say the window is small, requires re-zero and potentially stripping screws to change battery, and blue tint annoying. SRO can stand a drop test. What are my other options? Holosun I've heard has some great stuff but so many models not sure which to research first. Then there is Sig, and the Leupold. It might be a couple months before I get one so new 2022 models are on the table if I order one now even if there is a delay. I could always just order my Shadow Systems and do production until it comes in although I can't wait to get my RDS haha. I might also get a sub-compact with a mini RDS so, while not mandatory, it might be cool to have the same RDS on the sub compact but just the smaller version. What models check off all the good features? Auto-sleep/awake battery access without re-zeroing battery life Fits on Shadow Systems slide well with no plate, Or I might still decide to go Milled Glock slide mount but I'm leaning towards Shadow Systems
  2. Hello, I've been stalking for a little bit and thought I would make an account and introduce myself. I found these forums while googling various questions about Glocks and USPSA. This is an incredible resource and I'm grateful to be here. I just shot my first few practice USPSA mini match's here in NJ and loved it. I'm already addicted. I watched Building World Class Pistol Skills by Bob Vogel several times and I'm trying to take in everything I can. I also just ordered Ben Stoeger's books and videos and I'm looking forward to the journey of working hard to become a better shooter. I have a Gen 4 G34 with The Vogel Trigger: 4lb Striker spring, TTI Sights.I'm going to test out some 11-15lb recoil springs with 147 Atlanta Arms rounds this weekend. Thanks,
